DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT OWN HEROES OR ANYTHING FAMOUS. HEROES DOESN'T BELONG TO ME, THE SHOW OBVIOUSLY BELONGS TO TIM KRING. THEY BELONG TO I ONLY OWN MY CHARACTERS. So, ok, this is my first time doing a Heroes fanfiction, so, constructive criticism would be nice. Please don't be TOO mean.

"Please don't do this."

"Why?"

"Please...have mercy...I beg of you!"

"Mm...begging...how...tempting..."

"Please...don't..."

These final words lingered in the air, before the silence was shattered by a blood-curdling scream. The assailant cracked his neck, softly sighing in content.

"OKAA-SAN!"

The assailant turns, immediately spotting a small, Japanese girl with hauntingly beautiful and soulful, midnight black eyes. With long black, waist length hair, contrasting against porcelain pale skin, the man eyed the young girl with a sick fascination.

He gave a perverse smile, slowly inching forward, torwards the frightened girl. He stopped a few inches away from, bending over to be eye-to-eye with the child.

"What's your name?" The assailant asked.

The young girl stared in fear at the man in front of her: dark blue, hungryeyes;cropped, dark brown hair; and a light tan.

"Kairi..." The small girl whispered in fear.

The man grinned widely, flexing his fingers at his sides.

He grabbed a chloroform covered cloth, and placed it against Kairi's mouth-grinning even more as the little girl struggled. He caught the girl as she blacked out, limp against the his arms.

"Night, night, Kairi...my precious."

-NEW YORK AIRPORT, 10:30 a.m. -

"Any news?"

"Well...I got a tip from a very trustful source that there's a few people in Florida. They're...very special...he says."

"YOU...have sources?"

"Yes Danko...they're called "friends" I believe. Does that surprise you?"

"Actually...it does. Who knew that the infamous Sylar, would actually have sources...much less FRIENDS." Danko replied.

"Yes...well...it helps to have sources, who turn out to be my friends." Sylar said, leaning against the pillar, dark glasses covering his eyes.

"Never mind...who are these people and what do they do?" Danko asked, slightly irritated.

"To be completely honest...I have no idea." Sylar replied, smirking at Danko.

Danko glared, softly growling at Sylar.

"Well then...find out then why don't you?" Danko growled.

"Don't worry...I intend to."

"Call me when you have news...GOOD NEWS I hope." Danko ordered.

"Such little faith..." Sylar commented, shaking his head.

Danko just glared and watched as Sylar pushed himself off the pillar and board the plane.

"Are you sure we can trust him?" One of the agents asked.

"No...but if anything suspicious happens...you know what to do." Danko said.
