All Trish could remember was the whiskey on his breath.

The waiter passed by, carrying a shot of whiskey. Before she knew it, she was transported to a time, to a placethat she had never wanted to revisit.

"Trish, this is our honeymoon!" Randy Orton, her new husband exclaimed. She nodded. "Why don't you look like you're enjoying herself?"

Sinking into the lounge chair, Trish realized there was so much her new husband didn't know about her. She knew he'd accept her if he knew about her demons. Yet, it didn't make telling him any easier.

"I am," she murmured, gripping his hand. "I am. I forgot something in the room,"

Making her way to the small hotel room, Trish struggled to figure out what had shaken her so much. She had tried her best to forget, and for the most part, she had. She was finally able to feel whole, without a care in the world. The only thing that she still remembered was the dark scent of whiskey and all it meant.

"Trish, get a grip on yourself," she muttered, wringing her hands. "He's not Randy. He's not Randy,"

The more she said it, the calmer she felt. She couldn't believe all the pain was coming back. She loved Randy! It made no sense.

Tears spilled from her eyes. She couldn't believe she was crying on her honeymoon. Why couldn't she tell Randy about her past? Obviously, she had healed enough to marry him. '

John Cena had done unspeakable things to her, mostly when he was drunk. She took his abuse for three long years, until the day she'd had enough.

She vowed to forget, to move on and start a better life. She vowed to guard her heart, to protect it from the pain of love. She hadn't counted on Randy's charm, on his caring way. Before she knew it, she was in love.

"Why are you crying?" Randy asked, entering the room. "Is it something I did?" She shook her head, longing to tell him. It would be so easy, to tell him about her hidden past.

"Would you get mad if I told you I'd hidden some things in my past?" she asked, wondering what his answer would be. Placing his arm around her, he shook his head.

"I can't be mad at you for not telling me things," he whispered. She nodded. "You obviously have good reason for not telling him."

"Okay," The word was lost on her lips. He nodded, placing her head on his shoulder.

Inhaling the scent of his alluring cologne, Trish knew she was safe. She knew her past wouldn't be repeated with him. She knew she had finally found the man she could trust.

Closing her eyes, she grips his hand. Rough and yet smooth, she noticed his hands were a lot like their relationship. They fought occasionally, but they always ended up making up, going smoothly down the road of life.

"Do you have anything you want to tell me?" he asked. Biting her lip, she pondered the question. Right now was the perfect time to tell him what the smell of Whiskey did to her, of what the memories did to her.

Instead, she found herself shaking her head. She couldn't go through with it. Marriage was so new, bringing feelings she had never experienced. There would be time later to tell him of her demons.

She just wished it were easier.
