Chapter 1: The Winds of Winter

A/N: What I think will happen in the sixth book, in poetic form. Hope to continue this, either with the canon books, or with a new story entirely, depending on reader enthusiasm. Suggestions will be appreciated.

Plagues shall diffuse - spread by greyscale-filled hands -

Throughout the Storm lord's lands and Dornish sands

Yunkai will fall; Mantarys, Pentos bake,

Braavos will speedy peace with Dany make

Winterfell's bastard with a fatal wound

Will own Lightbringer that was dearly found;

Nymeria's mistress, with a lethal blade,

Will be death's bringer as a Faceless Maid

Night's King will return; before Night can end

Many a new watch will begin and end

Joramun's magic will bring down the Wall

And make all Westeros one weeping ball

Jamie will survive corpse Cat's dreadful might

And become the kingdom's lone, truest knight.

Frey's twin towers will end up under the rill

The North and Stoneheart: they remember still.

Harrenhal's new lord, and the chief of spies

Will play to determine who lives, who dies;

Over chess they will trade many a blow,

Both stars will rise too high then fall too low

Ramsay will die in snow, and Theon at sea

Stannis by Lightbringer, and Roose at tea

Myrcella, Tommen, the lady of flakes

Will taste the venom of vengeful sand snakes

Cersei shall weep red blood; without a word

She will expire by the valonqar's sword;

Tyrion will find out where whores really flock,

Then exchange Tysha for Casterly Rock

Dragon, griffin, white wolf? Only one lives

Melisandre gives herself, Asha reaves.

The coming war will desolation bring

Those who survive the night can dream of spring.
