YUSEIS B-DAY
okay this is my second story and its a request story for Kirei Ryuusei. I hope yall like it! (sorry if this sucks, i'm bad with romance stories but great with tradgities)
Yusei opened his eyes and yawned, he had been up till 4 am working on his duel runner. Alot of things had been on his mind lately, one of them being Aki. She made him smile and laugh like all of his other friends did, but this was diffrent. He shook his head and stood up and went out the door. The hallway and living room were completly dark, had they lost power? Suddenly a light tuned on and the living room came into view. Then all of his friends popped out and yelled "SUPRISE! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" Yusei stood there shocked, how had he forgotten his own birthday? "Yuseis nineteen!" Leo yelled. "Yes we know that leo, now calm down before you knock down everything" Luna said, although she was smiling. Yusei finnaly managed to say somthing "guys, yall didn't have to do this" Aki rolled her eyes "Yes we did" she stated, her brown eyes looked directly at his sapphire eyes. Why did those eyes make him nervous? "Alright enough small talk, we didn't spend four days planning this for nothing!" Jack said
4 hours later...
Yusei sat at a distance watching Crow and Jack argue over some rediculous thing. He rolled his eyes in amusment, no matter how old those two would get they will argue. He wanted some peace and quiet to think, why couldn't he stop thinking about Aki? Everytime he thought about her he would feel funny as if...well there wasn't a feeling to describe it. "Hey, somthing wrong?" someone asked, Yusei looked up. Aki was standing next to him, holding a drink. Yusei shook his head, not wanting to discuss what he was thinking. There was a pause of silence before Aki said "Yusei I know you better than that. What's wrong?" her tone was soft, yet firm. He let out a sigh before saying "Aki if I told you, you'd laugh" "Yusei I won't laugh at you, I swear." she said and sat next to me. "You don't give up do you?
Alright I'll tell you. Aki...I love you, I always have." Yusei said just loud enough for her to hear. Aki smiled and said "I love you too." And then to Yuseis complete suprise Aki kissed him for a few seconds. Slowly they broke apart "happy birthday Yusei" she whispered. For what felt like an iternity they stared into each others eyes. Suddenly out of no where a pinecone hit Yusei square on the head. "ow..." he mummered. Aki laughed softly "how in the world did that hurt you with all of that crab-hair of yours?" she asked, Yusei rolled his eyes. Aki was about the only person who could get away with a comment like that and not sufur conequences. Yusei picked up the pinecone, a ladybug crawled out and flew away. "Hey lovebirds! You want cake or not?" Jack called. Both signers turned red as they looked at Jack, he and Crow had the biggest grins on there face. "I was wondering how long it would take them to tell each other!" Crow yelled. For the first time in forever both Yusei and Aki were speechless and emberessed.
