Ferb and the Beanstalk
Once upon a time there was a boy named Ferb who lived with his older sister Candace in a little cottage. They were very poor, and Ferb's only valuable possession was a platypus that brought him happiness. Things for the brother and sister went from bad to worse, until one day Candace told Ferb that he must go to the market and sell their platypus.
On Ferb's way to the market he was stopped by Major Monogram. He handed Ferb a magic bean. Major Monogram explained that if the magic bean touches the sky over night it will grow into a beanstalk. Ferb wasn't really convinced, but what did he have to lose? When he arrived home without any money, Candace became furious. She threw the magic bean out the window and sent Ferb to bed.
A gigantic beanstalk grew overnight! Ferb climbed it to a land high in the sky. At the top he came to a castle that was the home of a giant. Ferb approached the castle's enormous door and knocked as hard as he could. Suddenly the heavy door creaked open all by itself. Surprised, Ferb went in the castle and looked around. He had never seen anything so beautiful or shiny. Suddenly, though, the room began to shake.
Ferb nervously hid behind a broom in the corner. The shaking got louder and louder. Then the door burst open and a giant came in. CLOMP! CLOMP! CLOMP! He stomped as he glanced around quickly, sniffing the air. ''Fee, fi, of, fum! I smell the blood of an Englishman! Be he alive, or be he dead, I'll grind his bones to make my bread!"
The giant might have found him if he had searched, but he was distracted by a fluttering noise. He went over to a small birdcage and peered at the goose inside. ''Lay!'' he ordered the goose. The next moment, the goose laid a gold egg.
The giant admired it greedily for a moment. Then he yawned mightily and laid his head on the table to take a short nap. His snoring filled the room like thunder. Ferb climbed up the table and took out the goose. Just as he reached the beanstalk, he heard a complaint from the castle. "Where's my goose?"
Ferb started climbing down the beanstalk in a hurry. Considering the giant's keen sense of smell, Ferb knew he didn't have much of a head start.
When he reached the ground he pushed the goose aside and ran to get his ax. The beanstalk was already shaking a little from the weight of the giant high above. As fast as he could, Ferb swung the ax. CHOP! CHOP! CHOP! With the last cut, Ferb jumped back. The whole beanstalk came crashing down with the giant.
Peter the Panda appeared to Ferb's relief. Ferb looked away for a moment then noticing a paramilitary assault team storming into the backyard. They seized Ferb and took him into custody. As Peter watched Ferb being carried out of the backyard, Major Monogram-2 appeared and informed him that Ferb must be put in O.W.C.A.-traz, the Organization Without a Cool Acronym's high security prison for cutting down a beanstalk.
Peter woke up on Jack's bed and realized in relief that what he had just seen was a dream. Jack woke up and noticed distress in the panda. He comforted Peter before going back to sleep. A few moments later, the panda drifted back into sleep as well.
