Hello! And welcome to a new story... this, I guess, will be my christmas special. I ran out of time. My Mom wrote all of the following! She's really good for a beginner... Sooo... let's get on with it! ACTION!

CHAPTER 1 - Preparation

The day is bright and sunny and the ponies are waking up. Everypony is excited for the special celebration taking place later in the day. HeartsWarming day is such a special time in Ponyville, gifts are exchanged, much food is shared and everypony is filled with the joy of the season of giving. Pinkie Pie is no exception. She loves any kind of celebration and has been up since before dawn working on some very special recipes for her friends and neighbours. There is only one thing that is worrying her and it isn't whether everypony will like her cookies. Pinkie Pie is pacing the floor in between rounds of baking, peeking out the window, waiting for a very special delivery to arrive.

"Whatcha lookin' for?" Apple Jack says as she walks into the house. "it can't be me, 'cause I'm already here."

"Ohhhhh, it's the special delivery. It's late Apple Jack. Gosh, I just don't know what we will ever do without it!" Pinkie Pie is starting to fret and Apple Jack tries to calm her friend down.

"Don't you worry your little head about it now Pinkie, I'm sure it's on the way. You might want to get yerself cleaned up a bit though before the rest of the guests arrive. You gotcha a little flour, umm, well... everywhere." says Apple Jack.

Pinkie Pie slides the last tray of cookies into the oven and climbs the stairs to her room to get cleaned up. "Keep an eye on my cookies Apple Jack. I'll be down in a minute." Unfortunately Apple had already left the house to check on the decorations outside and didn't hear Pinkie Pies request. Pinkie Pie picks up the hand mirror from her dresser. It was given to her last HeartsWarming day by a kind stranger passing through town and Pinkie cherished it. As she gazed into the mirror, her reflection shimmered and shifted and she saw the mess she was in, flour from the tips of her ears down to her chin. She picks up a cloth and wipes her face. Once more she gazes into the mirror. Satisfied she is clean, she goes to place the mirror facedown on the dresser and remembers the strangers warning to always keep the mirror face up. When she turns it, a light beams out of it. She peers more closely at what is supposed to be her clean reflection, but is instead a blue fishface, sort of... "What in Equestria...?!"

Soo... that was my mom's story! Chaptie 1 of course. And again, this is the christmas special. And... I guess that's it! BYEEEEEEE!

(Disappears in a cloud of black smoke. OH-NO! Not again! A joke for those of you who read my story... My Little Pony, Super Hostile. BYE!)
