Lydia pulled into the parking lot absolutely exhausted. She'd spent all night studying with Stiles and she remembered sometime around midnight spilling coffee on her shirt, so she grabbed his. She'd randomly grabbed one of his shirts before leaving his house. She buttoned it up over her tank top and tucked it into her pants, and, as usual, she was wearing boots. Her hair was still in her milkmaid braid from the day before, but now it was much messier. She put on some red lipstick and stepped out of her to walk to her locker. Everyone was staring at her, as if it was so obvious that she'd spent the night with a guy. She heard someone approaching her from behind. She turned around ready to defend herself, but it was just Stiles, who was holding her top.

"Hey… you okay?"

"Yeah, just tired. Is that my shirt?"

"Yeah. Here ya go. Lyd-" he suddenly noticed everyone staring at them.

"Everyone obviously thinks we did something last night…" Lydia said quietly.

"But… nothing happened."

"I know. Would setting the record straight even matter though? I have to go." She walked away from Stiles to her locker. She was exhausted and stressed and everyone judging her and staring at her certainly did not help.

"Hey Lydia." Kira said. She sounded concerned.

"Hey…"

"Are you okay? You look really stressed."

"I am… stressed. And tired. I spent the night with Stiles studying and I didn't have time to go home before school so I'm wearing his shirt, also because I spilled coffee on mine last night. I just feel like I'm being judged right now… nothing even happened."

"Did you want something to happen?"

"I don't know… I think part of me did. Part of me still does. I mean he's one of my best friends. He's the best. I won't say I haven't considered… us… I just, don't know what people would think… they're practically flipping tables over me just wearing one of his shirts."

"Who cares what people think? Or say? If you like him, go for it. Lydia, he's in love with you, whether you see it or not. You two would be perfect together. Do whatever you want, but do it for you. Not for these idiots who won't matter in 5 years. I have to go meet Scott. Good luck. Bye."

Lydia thought carefully about what her friend just said. It was amazing advice, that was pretty much Kira's specialty. She decided to seriously think about Stiles. He could make her laugh anytime, made her feel good about herself, made her want to be a better person, and just brought out the best in her. He was perfect for her, and she knew it. He saw him walk into the building, coming towards her.

"Hey, Lyds."

"Hey."

"Everyone is talking about us still…"

"About something they know nothing about…"

"Exactly. They have nothing to even talk about!"

"Well… let's give them something to talk about."

"Wh-?"

Lydia grabbed Stiles by his neck and pulled him close, putting her lips on hers, it was different, but it just felt so right. They stood there, Stiles staring down at Lydia, her staring up at him.

"They're staring." He whispered.

"Let them" she said with a smile.
