"Move over Barrett!", growled Cloud as he pushed Barrett off the couch. "I wanna watch TV!"
"Up yo' ass!", Barrett retorted as he climbed back on. "I'm watchin' the news!"
"No! I wanna watch cartoons!", Cloud whailed. "Gimmie the remote!"
"Nuh-uh! I got here first!"
They continued to squabble until Tifa eventually spoke up.
"Oh, you two! Why must you fight like this all the time?!"
"He started it!", Barrett mocked.
"Cloud, Barrett did get here first. You can watch TV later.", smiled Tifa.
"Grrr! Okay!", he pouted. "Meanie!"
"You can come and help me with this, Cloud.", suggested Cid. "I'm polishing my lance. It hasn't had a good clean in ages."
"Fine! I'll get some more polish!", Cloud groaned.
Suddenly the whole room went dark as the lights fizzled out.
"Argh! Dammit! What have you done Cloud?!", shouted Barrett.
"I didn't do anything!", Cloud paniced. "The power just went out on it's own!"
"Hmmm, seems like a powercut.", said Aeris.
"Huh? Who said that?", asked Cid.
"I did."
"Whose *I*?", he wondered.
"Me. Aeris."
"Oh, right.", he replied.
"Wait! Who just said, "Oh, right."?", Cloud questioned.
"I did."
"Who? You Barrett?", coughed Cloud.
"No! I'm over here! I think it was Tifa...", yelled Barrett.
"I definately didn't say it. I'm all the way over here!", Tifa bloated.
"So who did say, "Oh, right."?", Aeris asked.
"I dunno. Maybe it was you.", grumbled Cloud.
"No. I haven't said anything up until now!", growled Aeris.
"Look! Can everyone jus' shu' up?!", Barrett snapped.
"Oh, I know who that was!", laughed Cloud. "That was Cid! No question!"
"Wha?!", exclaimed Cid.
"Aw, this is too confusing! I'm going home!", mumbled Aeris.
"Aeris! No! It's too dark! Stay here!", warned Tifa.
Just then, the lights came back on.
"Ah!", sighed Cloud. "Don't worry guys! It's back on!"
"Holy crap! Look!", gasped Cid.
He pointed over to the table where he had been polishing his lance. The party stared in shock, as Aeris's body was impaled through the weapon.
"Oh my God! They killed Aeris!", screamed Tifa.
"You beasts!", yelled Cloud.
"I told her to stay put!", Tifa grumbled.
