1~:Prologue:~
Drip, drip, drip.
Red blossoming rose upon my lacy linen handkerchief. The blood dripping from my
finger, as I watch mesmerized with the thick liquid. Slowly I raise the needle up again, to slowly
come down on the blood spotted material I was sewing. Stopping again to watch the blood drip,
dropping the needle I bring my finger up to my mouth. Licking my lips I cautiously caress my
finger with my tongue, the rough texture bringing an unique taste. Tilting my head back with my
eyes flittering shut, placing my finger into my mouth I begin to suck on it leisurely, the metallic
flavor with a hint of a bitter but sweet flavor to it making my head spin. Looking up my eyes
gaze out to the open window the night once again calling me. A temptation that would be hard to
ignore, the warnings not to go, yet telling myself to go, find the person that is calling me during
this cloudless bright night. But the seduction of the night was to much, in a daze my body stood
up and walked to the window, standing and letting the wind play in my blonde hair as it played
with the dark blue curtains. Gripping the sill I slowly stood looking over the cemetery that I have
lain in for countless years. Letting my body become limp I fall, the ground becomes close as I
fall the many stories that makes the house, to fall in a crouch position.
Walking in the night feels my blood with a tranquil quenching of the soul. From the
crouch I simply walk down the road that connects from the drive way. Simply fallowing the
calling that tugs at my soul. Passing all the houses that sit in the small quaint village, parents and
children already tucked into bed and dreaming of what they wish could happen in real life.
Roads connect together to make an endless walk for me to take, as I near my destination the
tugging becomes un-relentless. Forgotten my already healed finger and needle that I dropped, as
I look at the wrought iron gates that seemed to reach out to the heavens. Closing my eyes finally
the destination comes to a closer as I open and step through the cemetery gates towards my fate.
Walking the rows, I pass the many tombs from the simple squares to the lavished statues
to show how great the people where, as they lay forgotten as the generations go by, little by little
they disappear. As I near the end I stop, crouching low I stare at a forgotten unmarked grave,
grass and vines growing over the simple rock that stood so proud, now lost in the growth of
nature. Brushing back the over grown vegetation the tugging was so strong but the knowledge
that what was calling me was behind me made me turn my head over my shoulder to look. A
shadow in the dark had impossible it sounded I could not see the persons face.
Opening what had to be the mouth it spoke...no whispered one word,
"Naruto."
