Lucas had been looking at his calendar he kept and noticed he had some shore leave coming up normally he didn't take it often mostly it would be with the captain but Lucas was being made to take some extra time off because he hadn't used all of his shore leave for awhile unfortunately he couldn't take it with the Captain or any of the rest of the crew as they all had to stay on the boat. He had decided to take a friend from the internet up on an offer to come to his family's island well he was on summer break from School. He first cleared it with Jeff Tracy the head of Tracy Industries and also the head of the Thunderbirds who had actually suggested it would be cool to surprise Allan with the visit especially as it would just be Lucas coming.
It would also be the first time they were meeting in person outside of a school setting, as about a month ago Warrington Academy Lucas had been invited to speak to some of the classes on some of his work with the UEO and the Vocoder. Due to how valuable he was to both the seaQuest and the UEO he was actually escorted there by the Thunderbirds. They had also come as the Tracy Family as the whole talk had actually been set up through Tracy Industries. Lucas had actually been invited there after he had started talks with Tracey industries about some of his anti virus/ hacking programs he had created for the UEO and seaQuest as they wanted to shore up some of their systems to avoid anything happening to them.
Jeff Tracey had set up a meeting with Allan and Lucas as well as Alan was interceded in working on the computers as well, it had actually been Alan who had brought Lucas to his dad's attention by pointing out that the best Anti Virus programs were usually written by hackers and Lucas was one of the best right now.
After Lucas had been invited he had begged the Captain to allow him to use the Stinger instead of having the seaQuest alter course to drop him off somewhere to be picked up by the Tracey's. In his excitement he had forgotten to mention that to them.
