The sun seemed to bask the room in gold's and oranges and the alarm clock was just waiting to go off, blaring some old tune from the radio and the announcer's cheesy wake up call. Today, though, Wilson had been crafty. Having woken up before the blonde, he turned off the alarm clock, wanting to wake his Aussie himself. So, as time rolled around, he smiled gently and placed a hand to Chase's arm.
"Robert, s'time to get up." Wilson's voice was soft and warm, trying to coax the other out of sleep.
In response, the other male merely rolled over and smashed his face into the pillow, groaning in protest to Wilson's gentle urgings. Mumbling something that was incoherent, Chase settled back in, pulling the blanket closer around him.
"C'mon now. You've slept in too much this week already." James teased, a playful look lighting up in his eyes.
Looking up from his pillow with sleep-hazed eyes, Chase pouted and shook his head.
"S'my off days. 'm sleepin' all I want." He promptly lowered his face back to his pillow and curled up around himself, sighing contentedly. Though said content was disturbed the moment Wilson wrapped his arms around the Australian's waist, pulling him close. Lips connected with skin and Chase was forced out of his sleep-induced stupor.
"Mmph, just lemme sleep." Shifting around in the other's arms, the blonde pushed his face against Wilson's chest, taking in the other's scent and heartbeat. Pressing a soft kiss to visible collarbone, the blonde let his eyes slip shut.
Wilson wanted terribly to push the other man off the bed or tickle him until he woke (or perhaps something that walked a little more toward the wild side) but he did not. Instead, he pressed a kiss into those blonde locks, letting the other fall right back asleep in his arms. The man was so beautiful when he slept. There was a total calm over his features and he held not a care in the world.
Perhaps this was why Wilson liked waking Chase up. Because when he did, he could fall right back into sleep himself and dream of an angel that he knew was his and his alone.
