Rebirth / 再生 ARC
Darkness.. as far as I looked that was all I could see, a never expanding darkness that seemed to have confused everything that used to be around me. Wherever I was. It had been this way as long as I could remember. The only thing I remembered was waking up in this place if you could even call it that considering that I had no body or sensations just existence without reason. That thought sent a chill up my non-existent spine, how that happened only the gods knew. I couldn't recall who I was before, nor did any faces come to mind. It was empty much like the place around me. I decided to call it the Abyss. It suited it , I thought remorsefully.
After what seemed like an eternity I felt something. It started off as a tingle. Growing more and more until I could feel it. It sent a jolt of joy through me. Maybe all hope was not yet lost. It persisted until I found myself face first on the floor of this ominous realm gasping greedily for breaths. "Just what did I drag myself into?!" I rasped out finally.
As if I in cue to my question a window, I didn't know what else to make of it appeared before me. It was strangely blue and when I reached out with a cautious hand barely grazing its surface it rippled! Shudder. Words appeared on it with a

"What the…"
'This keeps getting weirder by the minute' I thought nervously and suddenly there it was a whole goddamn menu suspended in thin air in front of me.

"Dd-eath Note!?" I spluttered wasn't that the name of some Anime and why does this look eerily like a game menu? Does that mean I'm in one of those situations where you get reincarnated a game character? The only thing I could ask was 'why me?'.
I did consider myself fortunate that it was only Death Note, it could've been much worse. One Punch Man for instance and I would have been toast. The only antagonistic forces here seemed to be Shinigami's and that too only in 'accidently' dropping their Death Note's. Everything else seemed to about only as dangerous as it was back in my world.

"Sigh" most of the options seemed to be grayed out. But if was being honest with myself New Game was too much to hope for. Without further ado I pressed the only option I had.

So I have decided to redo this fic as I didn't think my first attempt was any real good. As always I got college ;-) so updates will prolly only come once in a blue moon. That aside… I am planning to put it some real effort into this fic. I ve got it planned upto chapters 20.
