The Sibuna Scandal

The residents of Anubis House are baffled by the precious Egyptian artifacts that adorn their house. The original owner of the house, Robert Frobisher-Smythe, had a certain taste for Egyptian relics and it shows in his taste of décor, but the Egyptian themed decorating is nothing compared to the Egyptian nightmare the house has been living for the past year.
Editor of the Jackle, Joy Mercer, was taken from the house and isolated because it was thought she was the "Chosen One," but it was later discovered that Nina Martin, the American who took Joy's place in the house, was in fact the Chosen One.
Meanwhile, a small group of Anubis House formed to solve ancient riddles and fight adversaries like Rufus Zeno, the man known by the press to be dead, and others of a less tangible nature. This group coined the name Sibuna. Charter member Amber Millington stated, "Sibuna. It's Anubis spelled backwards. Duh."
At the close of their second quest which entailed finding the true Mask of Anubis to give to Senkhara, the "Forgotten Ruler," it was discovered that Edison Sweet (casually known as Eddie), the son of Mr. Sweet and American transfer, is the Osirian to Nina's Chosen One when he warded off Senkhara's spirit which had overtaken Nina's body. The Osirian is the protector of the Chosen One.
Most recently, in their third mystery, the members of Sibuna were forced together in a life and death game of scavenger hunt to find the scattered pieces of Iris's mirror. During this "game," two of Anubis House gave themselves up to continue their quest with the assurance that they'd come back to life at the completion of the mirror, but without two of their members, the group was weakened emotionally and physically.
Slowly enough, though, the whole house was brought into the mystery and at the very last second, the mirror was completed and the House of Anubis was whole once more.
The group is quite aware of the danger they encounter from day to day. They are very aware that this mystery may very well follow them forever, but they also know that together, with their combined intelligence and encouragement, they can always prevail against whatever is thrown at them.
