it was a hot summer's day konata and her cousin were in her room cooling off.
"It is so hot!" Konata said with a grown her cousin nodded, sipping on a glass of water and stated the obvious " certainly is". Konata suddenly sat up, wide-eyed and said with a burst of excitement. "I wonder what Kagami is doing!" konata runs down the stairs, grabs the phone and epically jumps into the armchair with the soft sigh punches in the number Kagami picked up the phone unaware that it was konata " hello." the voice came over the end that she thought she had stopped hearing two years ago. " Kagami!!! It's been so long, how are you?" Kagami almost fell over in shock " k-konata! You're right it's been a long time... but more to the point, what have you been doing with yourself lately?" " let me think oh, I know! I have been helping out around the house and I am still working at the cafe."Kagami chuckles to herself. " you're still trying to get into college?
Konata almost with a note of mock sadness in her voice. "Yes, and at this rate I will never get into college!" Kagami's voice verging on total explosion of anger " Do You Think You Ought to Get a College Education?!" " maybe I will Kagami... or maybe... I won't!" konata says in a singsong voice konata pauses, then with the sudden burst of energy she blurted out. " you know what myuki is doing?" "well... I think, she moved away." said Kagami, with a note of sadness. " oh where is she now?" Kagami pauses for a second, then says. "I think she moved to Kyoto but I could be wrong!" " Kyoto is not too far away from here! But just to be safe I'll try home phone." " look after yourself, you crazy little otaku!" "you know it!" Konata and Kagami, both put the phone down. Konata punched in her number the phone rang and rang until she heard the voice She was hoping to hear "hello, who may I say is calling?" Says myuki konata breathed a sigh of relief and says " myuki haven't heard from you in a long time!" "konata, I didn't know it was you how are you and your cousin?" " , Just chilling out." " anyway," konata said. " I was wondering if you and Kagami would like to come over like we used to?" " I can't sorry." she says with sadness. " so it's still afraid of the dentist!" konata says with a sly laugh " sadly that is true." " well, do you think you could give Kagami a try?" "I'll ring her up right away!" " all the best for the future konata." " yep get that cavity fixed." She said with a little laugh as they put the phone down and sure enough within half an hour. There was a knock at the door " that would be Kagami and her sister." Said konata's cousin. " could you get it it's kind of difficult!" as she was stuck on the final boss of doom " kay!" she said as she walked towards the stairs. Konata paused the game and waited. The door flung open, and there standing in the doorway was Kagami and her sister. Konata looked at them for a couple of seconds " well hasn't changed much." said Kagami with a mock sarcastic expression konata jumped up and flung her arms around Kagami " I have missed you so much!", she calmly smiled at konata.
