Narnia's Lewis's. So's the MN quote. She's mine.

She was the firstborn, created even before Narnia itself was sung into being.

In the first century after Narnia's creation she was not feared, for all Narnians knew whence she came and where she led. Still, it was not often that she was actually seen by those she came to lead. Even rarer were the times she was glimpsed by one who was not the reason for her coming. Though she was known to be an actual being in her own right, rather than simply an occurrence, the tales about her were few. Perhaps it is not surprising, then, that they were the first of the oldest Narnian stories to be lost.

Over the years, her presence in history became legend. That legend became myth. And even the myth was forgotten at last. As wars and evil crept into Narnia, its inhabitants began to fear her as an occurrence, having forgotten her as a person. It saddened her to see the change in them, but still she remained, fulfilling the purpose for which she had been created.

She grew busier as the centuries wore on, a fact she did not relish, for it did not bode well for Narnia.

Then Jadis returned, and prophecies began to be fulfilled.

And above all she feared the prophecy that Aslan himself had spoken in the presence of all the first Narnians, for she wanted no part of it and yet could not escape her purpose.

"Evil will come of that evil, but it is still a long way off, and I will see to it
that the worst falls upon myself."
