Chapter 1:

"Kyle? Kyle where are you?" Zoe whined, opening the bathroom door and peering inside. "Kyle, come on! I give up!"

Zoe heard laughing behind her and saw Kyle and Maddison walk through the bedroom door.

"Zoe! Hey…" Kyle said, smiling. Zoe looked from Maddison to Kyle, who had his arm wrapped around her shoulders.

"Kyle? I thought we were playing hide and seek…"

Kyle looked around him nervously. "Really? I must have forgotten…" he murmured. "Maddison and I were downstairs…" He looked down at her and smirked.

"Yeah Zoe, who would play hide and seek anyway! We're practically adults anyway…" Maddison threw back her head and laughed at Zoe's confused expression.

Kyle rubbed the back of his neck, faking a laugh. He didn't like how Maddison treated Zoe…but if he said anything Maddison would hate him…and he didn't want that either.

"Sorry Zo…I'll make it up to you." Kyle said, smiling at her. Zoe rolled her eyes and pushed past him and out of the room. Maddison carried on laughing until she felt Kyle's arm slip off her and follow Zoe outside the room.

"Zoe, wait!" Kyle called after her. Zoe swivelled around, an annoyed look on her face.

"What is it now Kyle? Had enough of Maddison?" She said sarcastically.

"Come on, Zoe. She brought me back to life, I owe her." Kyle pleaded.

"She's also the one that flipped the bus in the first place!" Zoe said, fuming. "I don't care anymore. Be with Maddison all you like, I don't need you." She turned around and strode off. Kyle caught her arm and pulled her into his chest.

"Zoe…You can't hate me forever. I love you, remember?" Kyle said, pressing his forehead to hers.

"Yeah…but you also love Maddison. At first I could take it…but it's clear that you want her, more than you want me. Heck! You forgot about me for an entire afternoon."

Kyle pressed his lips to hers. Pulling her close to him.

"You're the one for me." He murmured. He felt Zoe smile against her lips and push away.

"Fine…I forgive you…for now." Zoe smiled and walked away. Kyle smiled after her and followed her down the stairs.

"Kyle! Kyle come here." Maddison trilled. "I have something to show you…"

Kyle turned around to look at Maddison, standing in the doorway. She was smirking and beckoning him closer. He grinned back at her, and then looked over to Zoe, who was looking up at him, giving him a questioning look. Kyle knew if he chose one or the other he'd see hell freeze over.

"I can't do this anymore. It's either you or Maddison. I can't deal with both of you." Kyle pushed past Zoe and out the front door of the house.

"Kyle!" Zoe shouted after him! "Come back!"

"Shut up." She heard Maddison snarl, walking down the stairs. "You're the one who drove him out anyway." She took a cigarette out of her pocket and lit it, blowing it into Zoe's face.

"What is wrong with you? You turned him against me."

"He did that by himself hun."

"Whatever. I'm going to go look for him." Zoe ran down the rest of the stairs and was nearing the front door when it slammed in front of her, locking itself.

"Maddison let me out. I'm not an animal, you can't keep me locked away."

"Not until we make a deal."

"I'm not interested in your sick games."

"What if it involves gaining Kyle, all, for, yourself."

"Go on…"
