Andromeda's expulsion from the Black family was what the Blacks would call needed. Though there were members that thought the ruling of her disownment unfair. The voices of those could not speak. They were forbidden to voice their 'unneeded' opinions towards the ruling behind their family head Orion Black.
Of course there were students at Hogwarts that would call the whole situation crazy but they would never be able to go against a family matter. A family such as the Blacks in the eyes of the pureblood seemed to be losing their 'touch' hence the harsh punishments towards traitorous wrongdoers.
Andromeda now stood amongst the Black sheep of the family, her cousin Sirius Black, Gryffindor by nature and once heir to the Black name. With him on her side they grew close while the family - including her younger sisters drifted away. Narcissa stuck close to the Malfoy heir and never spoke to her sister as much as she once did and Bellatrix went on a stream of anger that held unlikely victims among the school courtyard.
Secretly she knew that her sisters cared for her but they knew the rules well and had to follow them to the 'T' since the infestation of a muggle.
