Jake Flomany opened his eyes. At first his eyelids were barely open. Then, they widened as far as they could.

Where am I? Jake screamed in his head. He looked all around to try to see where he was. It was pitch black

except for a small, flickering light bulb that hung overhead. The light bulb seemed to oddly illuminate the room

in green, even though that was probably not its intention. He was strapped down in a chair. "Hello?" Jake asked the darkness, only getting echoes back. Then, he felt the pain in his neck and mouth. He touched the back of his neck.

Jake felt a cold rod and tried to pull it out, but it only caused the pain to worsen. On top of that there were several

large fish hooks in his mouth. Help! Somebody please help me! HELP!" Jake screamed out desperately. Then, the

TV to his left (which he hadn't noticed until now) began to buzz with static. Then, it turned on. A puppet's face appeared

on screen. It had red spirals on its cheeks and long black hair that stuck up everywhere. It also wore a tuxedo.

"Hello Jake. I want to play a game. All your life you've been putting others down just for some good laughs. It has

all been jokes up until you assaulted the Latino man in the act before your last, then joked about in your last act. You said,

and I quote, "Practically reeled that Mexican in like a fish and tore his head off." Well now its time to put yourself down.

The device in the back of your neck has a blade which will move sideways until you are decapitated. The fish hooks in your

mouth are also hooked into the rod. If you can pull yourself far enough, the hooks will rip out the rod without you taking any

serious damage. How much pain will you endure to reel the rod out of your head like a fish? Let the game began," the doll said

and the TV zapped off.

The rod began to move and so did Jake. Luckily, the straps weren't very strong so he could brake out of the chair. But, the straps

still caused some resistance, making the fish hooks go deeper into the roof of Jake's mouth. But, he could also feel the rod began to budge.

The light bulb was just bright enough so that Jake could see the door. Jake began to crawl as the fish hooks went deeper into the roof

of his mouth. He could taste blood now, but he ignored it and continued. Jake wanted to get to the door before the blade reached his

spinal chord and disabled his motor skills.

Jake could feel the rod inching out just a bit. Come on! Please, let me make it out of here alive. I feel regret for hitting that Mexican guy. Jake

thought. The rod moving out of his neck was more painful then the blade cutting through his neck, but Jake endured the pain. If he got out of this,

he would quit being a comedian forever.

The fish hooks went deeper.

Jake got closer to the door.

The blade got closer to his spinal chord.

Jake got even closer to the door.

The rod was pulled out some more.

Jake began to pray as he crawled closer to the door.

Come on! Jake thought as he almost got to the door.
