It was a hot and rainy day when Sun and his team arrived at Beacon. He looked around a bit while he walked next to his best friend Neptune. "so nerd what do you wanna do first?" Sun asked and smiled at Neptune. He had a crush on her but never wanted to tell because he didn't know if she liked him back. Neptune on the other hand did like Sun but was afraid to tell Sun because she has a secret. that secret being that she is trans and is slowly transitioning into a guy. She has hid her secret from her best friend and team mates ever since they were made into a team. "I want to take a nap" Neptune said and looked around. She followed her team mates Scarlet and Sage. She sometimes avoided Sun like this when she needed to be alone and he wanted to do something together. she always acted like she was tired or busy. She rushed to the room they were staying in and found her bed. she shared a room with Scarlet because she wasn't that afraid of Scarlet finding out she was trans. "Hey scarlet can we have one of the vent talks that we sometimes have..?" She asked Scarlet quietly. She was tempted to tell Scarlet about her secret but she decided against it for now. "sure just let me shut and lock the door so Sun and Sage can't interrupt us this time" Scarlet said and shut the door. Neptune nodded and sat on her bed. She looked around a bit and bit her lip. "S-scarlet?" She whispered. Scarlet wasn't listening at the moment and Neptune started playing with her hearing aids a bit. "What's up Nep?" Scarlet asked finally and sat down next to Neptune. He grabbed Neptune's hands so she would stop playing with her hearing aids. "Do you think sun would ever like me if I wasn't how I am now?" She asked and bit her lip hard. "Nep what do you mean? what is going on? Why wouldn't Sun like you?" Scarlet asked and looked confused. He didn't understand what Neptune meant especially since no one knew that she was trans. "I mean if I wasn't a girl do you think Sun would still like me?" Neptune said and bit his lip. "of course Sun would still like you Neptune. You are Sun's best friend and will be no matter what" Scarlet said and shook his head. Neptune nodded and sighed a bit. Scarlet looked at Neptune and knew something was off. "what's up? Why did you really want to have one of our vent talks? Why the heck are you asking if Sun would still like you if you weren't a girl?" he asked and looked Neptune in the eye. "Can you keep a secret?" Neptune asked quietly but before Scarlet could answer Sun started to knock on the door and call for Neptune. Neptune sighed and groaned while falling over on her bed. "I'll tell him you are asleep and need time alone" Scarlet said as he got up to leave the room. "thanks Scarlet" Neptune said and curled up on her bed to pretend to be asleep. Scarlet just nodded and opened the door. "shut up will you. Neptune is asleep and needs some rest. She had a long trip here so just let her rest" he said and pushed Sun away from the door. "But I wanted her to meet the friends I made" Sun whined and huffed. "sorry maybe when she wakes up. why don't you invite them over so Sage and I can meet them" Scarlet suggested while walking to the kitchen in their room. Sun just nodded and ran out of the room so he could go invite his new friends over.
