This is just a little idea I had about why they never found the letter that Logan wrote.

"Son of a bitch!" Now Lilly Kane did not cry, but this, this was pretty fucking close. It was much too close for her liking.

"Goddamn fucker, bastard…" She fumbled around the contents of her drawers, tossing everything that wasn't what she wanted to the side, "No good for me, Lilly. It was great, Lilly. Part of me will always, fucking, love you, Lilly." She laughed bitterly and kept throwing an endless array of nail polishes and eye make-up onto the floor. "Only. Going. To. Hurt. Each. Other. Lilly." Her hands finally fumbled around and found what she was looking for, a red lighter with an emblazoned picture of Marilyn Monroe on it. "Don't forget me, Lilly," She flicked open the lighter and grabbed the letter off her desk, "Love always," She lit the top corner, "Logan."

She watched it burn down to nothing in her fingers and with less comfort than she would have hoped, dropped it to the floor. She looked down at it and suddenly felt something totally foreign to her. It hit her like a brick and she fell backwards into a chair. Sobbing. Lilly Kane didn't cry. Lilly Kane especially didn't cry over boys, but here she was, a total wreck, sobbing over the boy who'd broken her heart.

It was unfair. She'd done the best she could. She tried to be all those things he needed. She'd been his dream girl. Why the hell wasn't that enough? Sure she wasn't always faithful, but neither was he and they were okay with that. When did that stop being okay? When did he decide he needed something better than her? And when did Logan somehow manage the upper hand? How did he get the power to make her into a total wreck?

That's when something clicked in her head. Lilly Kane didn't cry. She got even. Ten times over. Lilly wasn't the girl that cried over lost love. She wrecked her lost love's entire life and made him beg for mercy. Logan didn't have the upper hand and he was going to pay dearly for thinking he ever could. Wiping the tears from her eyes, she picked up the phone and dialed the Ecchols phone number.

"Aaron? Why hello, lover. I know she's out of town. Why that big empty house all to yourself? Yes, Logan's still in Mexico. He won't be back home for days. That's really the reason I'm calling…"
