I own nothing.
Jaime was trying to do his homework.
Emphasis on the word trying.
He'd barely unpacked his bag before Bart was sitting on the arm rest of the couch with a bag of chicken whizzies in hand.
"Hey Blue, whatcha up to?"
Jaime didn't look up from his math assignment.
"Homework ese. Like I do every Tuesday night at six." He replied automatically.
Bart finished off his bag and threw it into the nearest trash bin with perfect accuracy.
Then he let himself fall back off the arm rest until his back was pressed against Jaime's side.
"You're too predictable Blue. You've got to learn to be more impulsive!"
Jaime put his pencil down with a sigh and turned to face his best friend.
"More impulsive huh?"
Bart nodded with a mega watt grin on his face before opening his mouth to keep teasing his friend.
He would have too, if Jaime hadn't leaned forward to kiss him.
Bart went stone still as Jaime cradled his face between his hands and kissed him with everything he had.
His lips tasted like lingering spice and desert dust and Bart loves it.
But that's all he had time to think before Jaime pulled back enough to catch his breath.
"Impulsive enough for you?" He breathed.
Bart blinked slowly back at him for a moment before smirking.
"I'll show you impulsive Blue." He promised, right before he tackled Jaime to the back of the couch and finished what the older teen had started.
Needless to say, Jaime did not get any homework done that night.
Inspired by my guilt about not doing my own math homework.
Yours truly,
