Zach reminesses about the time he went to visit Cammie, and got caught. It hints at sexual content, but there is only borderline stuff, rating it as M for safety. Zach's POV.

Grandpa's Shotgun
I watched her from the top of a tree, I could see ever part of the Morgan Ranch and ever move Cammie made. I was head over heels for her. Not that she needed to know that.
I watched her start saddling one of the horses, her grandfather trying to help her. Not that she really needed it, but I guess to him she was still a little girl.
Even if Hank Morgan was not a spy I had a feeling he could take me, working on a ranch your entire life really built up muscle. Then there was the shotgun he was always carrying around, I shuttered at the thought of it.
Last summer, just after Cammie and I had our first kiss, I paid her a visit about oh say four in the morning. It ended with that shotgun aimed at my face, not fun!
I knocked on the window lightly, just enough to wake her up. I saw her look quizzically at me from the bed on the other side of the room.
"Zach? What are you doing here?" she asked as she opened the window. I would have responded if I actually had air in my lungs. It is incredible hard to breath when you are looking at the girl of your dreams standing in front of you in nothing but a large worn-out flannel shirt. Cammie must have noticed where my eyes seemed to be looking because she wandered back to the bed and covered her bare legs with one of the blankets. "So you gonna answer the question?"
"A guy can't visit the girl he kisses?" I responded nonchalantly, a smirk plastered on my face as I started moving around her room to look at her things.
"At four in the morning?" Cammie questioned in that annoyed tone of hers that turned me on more then anything else.
I smirked at her and my voice became husky when I spoke, "Less third party questions to answer."
I heard her gasp lightly as I trailed my hands down her sides, "Zach…" It sounded so amazing to my ears, her voice was husky and lust-filled; I wasn't the only one turned on anymore.
Her hands twirled their way into my hair, pulling me down on top of her. I grunted as my body made impact with hers, she fit so perfectly with me. I kissed her roughly, the need to do that the last few weeks had been near unbearable.
I flipped us over then, putting her on top and causing the blanket to slip away from her lower body. My hands wandered beneath her top then, earning me moans and light gasps from Cammie as my slightly calloused hands twirled along the silky skin of her stomach.
We never heard the creaking floorboards or the door hinges cringe as the door opened. We did however notice the very angry rancher that pulled his granddaughter off of me and then stuck the shot gun he had in hand in my face.
It took a LOT of persuasion from Cammie to get Hank Morgan to let me go. I was not allowed to talk or a bullet would have been shot down my throat. Thus I was stuck having to watch Cammie from afar until she could get away.
"Zach!" Cammie called up to me from her horse as she rode past. She circled the tree, "Meet me in thirty minutes by the lake."
Not even the possibility of Hank Morgan's shotgun would keep me away from Cammie though, and apparently it couldn not keep Cammie from me either. I smirked as I snuck down the tree and past the watchful eye of Hank Morgan down to the lake. I would probably have to face that shotgun again someday, particularly if I wanted to marry Cammie like I planned.
