"Edward. Don't do it," I screamed through the crowd red, running towards the clock tower.
"EDWARD!"
But i was too he stepped out from the shadows and undid the buttons of his shirt. I froze. My heart was beating fast against my cheast, strands of hair plastered to my sweaty forehead, cheast heaving. His pale and beautiful face blank with concentration.
His perfectly muscular body sparkled in the sun, like a thousand diamonds gracing the skin of a god. A couple of gasps escaped the crowd as I began to run again. Everyone was staring at Edward now. As I looked towards Edward strange hands grasped his shoulders from the shadows and he dissapeared.
Alice ran up behind me, apparently seeing the whole thing, threw me over her shoulder and headed straight for the alleyway in which Edward had been taken. I knew something was wrong, her face, horror stricken, was twisted and looked slightly demented.
"Alice? What's happened? Where's Edward?" Tears streaked my face as a scream echoed through the tunnel we just entered. Walls blurred as we seemed to speed up, turning sharp bends, we came to a large, wooden and metal framed door. An agonizing scream escaped the room behond. Alice released a growl, and everything went silent. The giant door swung wide open with a hair-raising creak and revealed a dismembered body scattered over the floor.
A round object rolled to my feet and I choked. It was no ball, but a head. A head with black-hole like eyes staring, without seeing. Edwards eyes. His beautiful, pale face was tranparent. Tears pouring now, the salty drops of water dripped on his perfectly shaped lips, the lips I once kissed with a steaming passion. He was gone. Never to watch me sleep, never to brush my cheek with his ice cold hands, never to hold my hand, or be his overprotective self. He was gone, gone forever.
