'Harry, will you come in here for a moment?'

Harry took a glance at Ron and then turned to follow Ginny into her room. Ron was astonished by this action of his best friend. Before he could react in any way at all, Hermione had already grabbed his arm and was pushing him up the stairs. They were about halfway to Ron's room when he got back to his senses again.

'Let me go back,' he said through clenched teeth.

'No Ron, listen to me,' Hermione answered still taking further away.

Boiling with anger inside him, but obeying Hermione, he followed her to his room, where she dropped herself onto the bed. Ron remained standing in the middle of it.

'You do know what is going on, do you?' Ron asked her, his ears red.

'Yes, of course I know,' she answered calmly.

'But then why did you let this happen just like this, you know they broke up, and Ginny was broken by it! So what are they playing at?' Ron raged now.

'Ron, it is their relationship, not yours. They are the ones who have to solve their problems in their own ways,' Hermione replied still with a calm voice, but in her eyes was a trickle of fear for she was afraid what he might do.

'But – But she is my sister! And don't tell me they are just having an innocent conversation together in there alone! I am going to put an end to it!'

He was already turned around, when Hermione sprang to her feet and grabbed his hands to stop him.

'Please Ron, calm down first,' she said as he turned to face her.

Anger still radiated off him when Hermione leaned closer to him, kissing him softly on his lips. For a moment, it seemed like Ron had forgotten everything that had just happened. They broke apart, looking straight into each other's eyes.

'I'm calm now,' Ron said quietly, 'And if I have to I will rip them apart.' He ended moving out of the room so fast that Hermione didn't have time to stop him.

'No Ron, wait!' she yelled running after him down the stairs, but he was too quick and tore open the door to Ginny's room ahead of her.
