Ruth is a young girl about 15 years old who new Edward since before his mother died. When she was 13 Ed and Alphonse told her she couldnt come with them on their quest for the philosepher stone because it would be to dangerous. So she now lives in America

The FullMetal Alchemist: Journey Home

Chapter 1:

Human kind can not perform alchemy. Those who have a purpose and are gifted will succeed. We thought that equivalent exchange was alchemy's most important rule. In those days we really thought that to be the one and only truth. But we were wrong. We searched for the philosopher stone to regain our limbs …….and we found it.

"Hello!" I said as I opened the door to the house. "Hmm………..must be out for dinner or something", I said wondering where everyone was. As I walked to my room I heard big stomps behind my door. I took one step closer and started to open the door slowly. I couldn't believe what I saw when I came to full view of my room………………..There was a Boy who looked about my age 15, with blonde hair, and big golden eyes. He was wearing gloves a black shirt, white color, black pants and boots. Next to him was a big suit of armor with red glowing eyes. I stood in shock and frightened. The boy looked at me and said "Long time no see, hey Ruth!" "EEEEEEEEEEkkkkkkkkkkkkk……..Edward!" I jumped on him out of joy. "I…can't…breath!" he said. I quickly let go and apologized. "Its alright…...how are you?" he asked me with a small smile. I thought to myself how was I? Well I really hate this place…ya… "oh…I'm fine. Oh Alphonse I almost completely forgot about you! How are you both? How's the search coming along? I hope you're not getting yourselves into to much trouble….right." I said. "Eehh…." They both answered. "What are you guys doing here anyways?"I asked. Alphonse spoke this time…excitedly, "We wanted to know if you wanted to go with us back to Amestris and better Resimbul." He said. "R...Resimbul?" I said not believing my ears. "Ya! Winry and Aunt Panako will be their too!" He said. "You really want me to go..." this time I looked at Edward. He stared at me for a few moments and said "Ya...Like old times right!" I chuckled a bit. "Right" I said. "Does that mean your coming, Ruth?"Alphonse asked excitedly. I chuckled at his childness and nodded. "Yes! "He said while throwing his fist in the air. I giggled again.

"When do we leave?" I said happily. "Now" said Ed with a grin on his face. "Grab my hand" he said offering his left hand. "Ok…what next" I asked. "Hold on tight! "He said. All of a sudden there was a big flash and I was standing in the middle of a large field and at a house up ahead I saw someone running toward us. I gasped. It's really her. I'm really home.
