Drops of Lemon

Disclaimer: Harry Potter isn't mine. (If it were otherwise, I wouldn't really mind, either way. )

AN: Hiya! This will be short and is a one-shot. I should work on making it longer, but I really didn't want to ruin it too much. So, um, here it is. Enjoy. (I hope...)

These are the gravest of news. You may cry and you may scream. I won't mind, no, not at all. That was a chair and that one a globe of some sort, but as long as you don't throw my candy dish, I won't mind.

Have a lemon drop, won't you? They are quite nice.

Yes, death can be unforgivable, but it's nothing more than a grand quest to some where else. I have no doubt it can be frightening, but until then, I'll have a lemon drop or two. We must be cautious of the road that is taken, of course. Even if we worry, scream or cry; there is still something left whether it be good or bad.

Dear me, I believe this one melted in my sweaty hand, but I still have another to spare if you like? No? Oh, do mind the candy bowl, I'm afraid we'll need more lemon drops to ease that sore in your throat.

It's been such a long day; a rather marvelous day, but such sad things have happened. I don't suppose you'll have one. Me? No, I think you would consider it more enjoyable a task if I didn't join in your gutteral bellowing. I might accidentally laugh instead of scream. No, I'm quite sure. I'll just listen and sit here. Sit here and admire the wonders of these lemon drops. A miraculous muggle treat. Would you care for one? They are quite nice.

Oh. Yes, please carry on. Don't take any mind to the ravings of an old man.

AN: Yup, that's it. Short, but I hope it's still decent. Thanks for reading and leave a comment, please! (please?)
