Ok so this is such a short drabble, i just keep watching IM2 and his birthday scene and the first time i finally heard it i had to rewind and say omg did he really just say that.I'd like to say thank you for those of you who have already put my other stories on your alerts and favorites and an extra thank you to those of yo who reviewed. youll be getting a pm very very soon. Oh and yes, from the roof to the room was meant to be a one shot but ive gotten three reviews from people who want me to continue and so im writing chapter two after im done here. oh and ive also written three other stories for iron man ok so correction, am writing. Anyways im starting to ramble so im gonna stop and say enjoy and review.
Out of Control
Pepper layed down on her bed angry and confused. She was furious with Tony's complete lack of responsibility and his complete reckless abandon at his birthday party. He might as well have just drunk himself into oblivion if she hadn't shown up when she did with Rhodey. She had left his present on the kitchen counter but was sure it had been destroyed in his brawl with Rhodey. But just when she was ready to hit him she would hear his voice whisper in her ear once more, "You're out of control gorgeous." Then she would smile a little and her heart would flutter and pound in her ears when she would remember him leaning forward to kiss her. Her heart was battling all emotions and she knew she should check on Tony. He hadn't exactly been in the best condition when she left with Happy, he was worse than usual actually, and then she was reminded once more of all the things he had done within the past month that were done with deadly reckless abandon and immediately decided against going to check on him. She resolved that she would make him come to her apologizing for everything he was putting on her. And so with a solution in mind she laid her head down on her pillow wearing the pajama set Tony had bought her for Christmas that she would never admit to wearing. It was an Iron Man pajama set and as she closed her eyes the last thought in her mind was, 'God I really wanted to kiss him'.
