Danny walked down the street with his best friend, Sam. It was December 24th, the day before Christmas, and Danny had taken Sam to see a movie.
"That was a great movie!" Danny said. Sam smiled, but before she could reply, a voice was heard.
"What do you mean we can't have Christmas?!" A little girl's voice cried out.
Danny, and Sam stopped at an old broken down apartment to see a little girl, no older than 5, in tears dressed in an old dress. She had long brown hair in two braids, and bright brown eyes. Her parents were also dressed in old clothes.
"I'm sorry Susie, but we, I mean Santa can't come deliver presents this year," The dad said.
Susie's mom nodded.
"Now come on. Why don't we go look at Christmas lights?" The mom asked. That seemed to cheer Susie up, for she went out he door, her parents right behind her.
"You thinking what I'm thinking?" Danny asked Sam.
"Sure do! I'll get the stuff, and you can sneak it in," Sam said as they went to the mall.
Together, Danny and Sam got Susie a little toy doll with a pretty blue dress and shoes, a warm coat, gloves, and other toys a little girl would want.
Sam wrapped the presents for Danny to deliver, while Danny got a tree. After what seemed like forever, the presents where in a bag, already to deliver. Danny snuck the bag, and the tree home, and waited till 11:00 pm before going ghost and going to the house. Danny saw that the mom was still awake. Danny waited for more than two hours before overshadowing her, and making her sleep. Danny quickly set up the tree, and put all but one present under it.
Danny took Susie's doll, and phased through the walls into her room. Danny put the doll next to her.
"Merry Christmas Susie!" Danny whispered as she stirred a little, but remained asleep. Danny phased out of the house, and went home.
Danny woke up early, and flewto Susie's house. He got there around 8:00, just as Susie woke up. Danny stayed invisible as Susie stared at her new doll, amazed.
"Mommy! Daddy! Wake up! Santa came!" Susie cried as she grabbed her doll and ran to her parents' room.
Susie's parents sat up, a little confused.
Susie's parents watched in amazement as Lucy opened her presents.
Danny floated outside the window, now visible.
"Santa came after all!" Susie shouted.
At that time, Susie's mom saw Danny Phantom, and smiled.
"I think it might have been someone else," Susie said, eying Danny.
Susie's dad looked confused before spotting the ghost boy.
"Who?" Susie asked.
"I'll tell you later," Susie's mom said as Danny flew away to Sam's to tell her about their success.
Susie had a Christmas after all.
