He'd never believed in life-changing experiences.
Or monsters.
Until he'd met one.
And then he'd been turned into one.
And his life had changed.
He'd gone through all the phases. Horror – denial – craving – despair.
The awakening of senses and instincts he'd never imagined had been… terrifying.
And exciting.
The hunting, the feeling of being alive, his new body like a powerful machine, obeying his every demand, tireless and insatiable.
But his prey had started to haunt him, their broken eyes reflecting his image.
When the silver bullet came to claim vengeance, he waited, welcoming it.
Yearning to change for good.
