Hi guys, sorry for the really unexpected and long absence. I'm certainly going to get back to updating again, my priority being When in Spain, and until then, here's a really, really small and pathetic drabble to get back into the flow of things.

"You're so beautiful, Lovino."

Antonio found himself staring at Lovino through half-lidded eyes, taking in each feature of the young man's handsome face. His pert, freckled nose; his soft, pillowy lips; the long auburn eyelashes that slowly fluttered open to reveal the most lovely hazel eyes Antonio had ever seen. Lovino blinked languorously and his lips fell open slightly, parted enough for Antonio to see the tips of his pearlescent teeth. His thin eyebrows furrowed slightly, and when he spoke, his voice was a divine mixture of coarse from moaning at the top of his lungs and breathy from being pulled out of a sleepy haze.

"You are an idiot, Antonio. I'm not beautiful, shut up."

Antonio could see the pink colouring Lovino's smooth cheeks and he smiled, bringing himself closer to press a kiss onto that flushed cheek. "Really, mi amor, you're beautiful," he whispered, brushing a stray, coppery curl from the Italian's forehead and tucking it behind his ear. "Most beautiful man I have ever seen!"

The red in Lovino's cheeks only darkened and his eyes flashed to the side, away from Antonio's face. "You're so annoying, shut up!"

"No, you're being annoying. Learn to accept a compliment, Lovino."

Lovino looked just as surprised by the irate growl as Antonio felt, and he slowly stopped fidgeting. He seemed to hesitate, biting down on his full lower lip and drawing his eyebrows together. Just as Antonio was about to break the silence and apologise, he looked down shyly. "Thank you," he mumbled, cheeks and ears lighting crimson. "Means a lot, bastard."

Antonio's cheeks hurt from the smile that tore across his face, and he buried his face into the curved crook of Lovino's slender neck, peppering kisses onto the warm flesh. "I think that's the best I can get from you, Lovi, so I'm happy."

A small smile twitched on the corners of Lovino's lips, and Antonio felt him shift inconspicuously to wrap an arm around his waist. "Yeah, yeah, just shut up already."

But the comment didn't hold its usual malice, so when Antonio slanted his lips over Lovino's and pulled the sheets over their heads, he knew that that moment was the beginning of many more accepted compliments to come.

TBC...?

Maybe there are a few other little drabbles in the near future...
