Authors Note: I Dont own these characters. (Do we have to put that?) This takes place immediately after the end of Season 8. I dont remember if that other kid (The one whose brother is on SNL) who came in Season 8 was there at New Years or not, but if he was, then pretend he wasnt.
The gang looked around the circle and realized how far they had come.
Eric thought back to when he was too much of a little girl to ask Donna out. He reflected on his time spent in Africa, and how much he had missed hangin' in the basement with the gang.
Hyde thought about finding his father, his old, hidden love for Donna, his temporarily secret affair with Jackie, and his stripper ex-wife. Most of all he saw this as the end of an era, and Hyde became sad. He clearly could never admit this, but it was true.
Kelso, feeling unusually reflective, thought about doin' it with Jackie, doin' it with Laurie, trying to do it with that chick from California. He thought Hyde hitting him, and falling off of the water tower.
Fez thought back to when he first came to this country. He remembered these people, his best friends, taking him in. Mostly he remembered lots and lots of candy and porno.
Donna thought of her relationship with Eric. All the fights, the year they had been broken up and she had dated Casie, Eric standing her up at her wedding. And yet she still loved him.
Jackie thought of how pretty she was. And her relationship with Kelso, but mostly she thought of Stephen. She could pretend she was over him, and she could fool everyone except herself.
Eric said,"We need to do something to say goodbye to the 70s."
"I think we are doing something, Forman." Hyde replied. "We're in the circle!"
"No, something different. Something big!" Eric persisted.
Donna kicked in, "Like have a Lightsaber fight!"
"An Excellent idea-" Eric exclaimed loudly before realizing Donna was making fun of him. "No, you would all lose, since I have the Force on my side."
"Let us go out, and buy a pound of candy for each of us, and see who can eat it the fastest." Fez exclaimed.
Kelso looked excited. "Oh! I will totally strap and light any type of firework to my body for the good of this night!"
"Shut up Micheal. I will put on a fashion show and allow you all to take pictures if you'd like. Who am I kidding, of course you'd like it!" Jackie chimed in. "Except for you, Red Giant." She said to Donna.
Eric looked frustrated. "No! You are all missing the point! It has to be something we will remember for the rest of our lives..."
