Tonks opened the door of his bedroom. The dim light from the hallway illuminated Remus' body and she could be able to contemplate the way his chest rised sligthly every time he breathed. He looked peaceful and relaxed, his eyes were closed, though she didn't know if he was asleep yet.

She crossed the room, climbed into the bed and pressed her back against his frame to feel his warmth.

"You should stop doing this every single night, Nymphadora" he murmured in a low voice.

Tonks closed her eyes and leaned her head on the pillow.

"You never kick me out, though" she mumbled with a lopsided smile.

He wrapped an arm around her waist and brushed his lips against the nape of her neck. "I never said I didn't like it."
