A/N: I had this little one-shot hidden on my computer and I just uncovered it today. It's at least a year old, but I love it. I think it's one of my best one-shots. I usually do better with multi-chapter stories, so I'm proud. Don't forget to review, please! (:

As they zoomed out of the Room of Requirement, Draco held Harry's waist tightly. He couldn't believe he had just saved his life. After everything he has ever done to him, Harry saved his life. Although, Draco had saved his life at the Manor, so they we're square now. Maybe things could be different when this war was over, thought Draco.
He pictured himself walking up to Harry, his messy hair all over the place. He saw him apologizing, and Harry forgiving him; they had a fresh start. He could see them standing there, awkwardly, embracing each other like old friends, as though the last 7 years had never happened.

They rolled off the broom, landing on the hard ground. Draco was thrown back into reality. He stood and dusted off his robes, looking over at Potter who had stood, not bothering with his robes, drew his wand, and was ready to run off and fight. I reached out and grabbed his arm, turning him.

"Why did you save me?" I asked.

"I couldn't let you die. I'm not like you. I care."

"Obviously you don't know the real me." I said through gritted teeth. Harry looked at me, surprised. "I care more than you think, Potter."

He looked at me innocently for a moment, before his face turned stony. "Prove it." He spat.

"I don't think you want me to."

"Who're you to say I what I do and do not want?"

I stared him in the eye. He stared back, unwavering. Suddenly, with a wave of bravery, I grabbed the back of his head and crushed my lips against his. He tried to get away at first, but I wouldn't let him. I held him securely in my arms. After a moment or two, he relaxed and began kissing back.

We broke apart several moments later, our breathing labored. I smiled at him, and he smiled back.

"Does this mean I'm forgiven?" I wondered.

"Yes." He nodded. I threw out my arms and tightly embraced him. He hugged back for a moment, before pulling away and stepping backwards.

"I have to go give myself up. It's the only way!" He added the last part quickly, noticing my attempt to interrupt him.

"But he's going to kill you."

"Only one can live while the other survives." He said, shrugging. I sighed as he turned.

"At least use your invisibility cloak so no one tries to curse you and take you to him themselves."

"They won't, Draco." He insisted, but pulled the cloak over himself anyway.

"Be safe." I said, listening to his footsteps walk toward his impending doom. Once the footsteps were gone I sighed. "I love you." I said softly before making my way out to the battlefield and drawing my mother's wand. But instead of firing curses towards the students and staff, I threw spells at the Death Eaters. Now that my true self was revealed, it was time for my revenge…
