This is my 5th fanfic so far, not counting chapters. It's another one-shot. Hope you like it. Note:Grando is a new guy. -
"I can't belive we found it," Ed Elric stated to Al.
"Me neither, brother," Al Elric answered. "But what are we going to do with it?"
"Let's go talk to Grando."
"Ok." They began the long walk to Grando's house.
"Grando, we have some questions," Ed said.
"Yes,"
"So, we found the stone. Now we're wondering what are our choices?"
"Well, there's only 2 choices. Either A) you fix everything and leave it all behind, or B) leave it just the way it is," the old man stated, the shooed them out the door.
"So, what should we do, brother?" Al asked, his voice muffled by his suit of armor.
"I don't know, Al. I don't know," Ed looked worried. "Let's go down with Winry to the town,"
"Ok," They walked down to Winry's house and then all three of them walked down to the town.
After about an hour, they were walking down a deserted street. All of the sudden, a man with a gun jumped out and grabbed Winry.
"Winry!" Ed screamed.
"Easy, small fry. One false move and she's dead,"
"WHO ARE YOU CALLING A MOUSY LITTLE PIPSQEAK!!!"
"I never said that," he spotted Al trying to sneak away. "Hey, what's the armor holding?" he asked.
"A stone,"
"Looks like a gem to me. Give it to me and I'll let the girl go," the man said sinisterly.
"Fine. Al, give him the stone," Ed said, looking meaningfully at Al. Al handed him the stone and he released Winry. She fell to the ground. Ed helped her up, then threw himself with all his strength at the man. The stone fell out of his hand and broke with a Chink.
"No!" Everything seemed to be in slow motion. The Philosepher's Stone, which they had gone through so much to get, was broken into a million pieces.
"Ed, it's ok," Winry's voice woke him up from his stupor. he allowed himself to be led away by her.
"Don't be sad, brother," They were in the house again.
"How can I not, Al?" Ed asked, his head on the table.
"It's easy. Just think of the bright side. Now we don't have to make a choice,"
"What choice, Ed?" Winry sounded desperate.
"Winry, it doesn't matter anymore,"
"Why not? Ed, tell me!"
"We had to choose, fix everything and leave you behind or stay with you and remain this way,"
"And what did you plan on choosing?" Her voice was a mixture of angry and sadness.
"I don't know Winry. I don't know," Ed started to sob. Tears streamed from his amber eyes.
"It's ok. It's ok."

Ok, maybe it won't be a one-shot. It depends on whether people want me to continue. R&R.
