Summary : This story is about how Logan realizes that if he doesn't start to settle down with one girl, he'll never be able to hold up a relationship. What girl is going to believe in him enough to put their heart on the line for almost definite heart-brake?
"Love is giving someone all your all, all your trust and everything you can. Love is about giving someone your love and trusting them not to destroy you. Its about confiding everything in one person and basically giving them the go-ahead to break you into a million little pieces, but hoping they won't. And even if they do, and your in love, you'll forgive them for completely destroying you and give them another chance."
Logan closed Zoe's notebook she had left in English class and read that last entry about love. Oh, if only Logan could be so trusting. But he could never trust anybody enough to let them brake him down, could he? He doubted it. So he started to head back to his room.
Logan decided he was going to give this whole "love" concept another thought. He sat down and he decided that love in fact, was like a song. Yes indeed, just like a song. Since Logan had already given Zoe back her notebook and he had no source of inspiration, he decided to try writing his thoughts down, I know weird right?
In his notebook Logan wrote :
"Love, I don't know much about love. Well, achully I don't know anything at all about love. But from what I've come to learn, love is like a song. Falling in love seems to be a lot like a song. At first it's a rush, but then it gets painful. Because you know no matter what you do its never going to be perfect. I only know this because when chase was here he used to write songs all the time, and compare them to love."
Then Logan thought to himself :
Well, I highly doubt after all the dumb things I've done that anybody is going to put their heart in my hands. Although maybe Zoe would. She is really pretty. And innocent. And pure. Like a child. I wish I was like that.
Logan decided he was going to give this love thing a shot...
