As for Dracula, he owns himself.
He finally returns after thirty years. Lying on the floor, bloody and bruised from gun fire, he lets out a chuckle.
"What a rough welcome," he says, with a stream of red flowing down the corner of his mouth.
"Master…!" Seras says with great excitement.
"You're late," Integra says with her arms folded over her chest. "Do you care to explain yourself?"
"Sorry," Alucard says with an apologetic expression written all over his face.
Standing from her bed, the Hellsing leader saunters over to the long-absent vampire. Biting her ring finger, she creates a large gash to offer him a welcome home gift.
"I'm an old woman now. I'm…"
"It's all right," he says, lowering his bottom lip as droplets of sweet crimson fall upon him. His senses grow calm and humble with his appetite appeased after thirty long years.
"Welcome home, Count," Integra says.
"I'm home, Countess," he replies.
The lady vampire quietly steps out of the room, leaving them to their privacy. She swings her rifle over her shoulder and sighs with relief.
"It's about time, Master," she says, sauntering back to her chambers.
Four Days Later…
Blood wings move swiftly through icy skies, and thick nimbus clouds. Eventually, she arrives at her destination, and lands softly into the landscape. She begins her journey pass the massive trees, stopping momentarily for the scent of death and decay has not truly left after three decades.
Seras finally finds the spot and settles into the grass. Sometimes, she would find herself here. Usually, she would go into deep thought.
Sighing, she gazes at the moon above her. It almost resembles the one that night many years ago. She makes a sad smile.
Thirty years and I still grieve over the life I once had. One would think I'd be over it by now.
Her smile vanishes from her face when she realizes a familiar presence near her. She turns around and finds Alucard.
Master...
She immediately stands up.
"Your senses are sharp, police girl," he says, smirking. "I'm impressed."
Seras sigh inwardly. To this day, he stills acts as though he is her teacher and parent; two things in this world she no longer needs.
"It's been thirty years. What did you expect?"
Alucard eyes glisten through his sunglasses, while giving her a toothy grin. He closes the gap between them, leaning ever so close to his long-time fledgling. A shade of pink claims her features with her master being that close.
"Why are you here?" she asks, taking several steps back. His smile stretches further on his face.
"I think the better question is, police girl, why are you here?"
"I asked you first," she says, placing her hands on her hips. Her convictions hardens even more, when her master lets out a whole-hearted laugh. "Is there something amusing?"
"Indeed, there is," he says, placing a hand on his chest. "Thirty years without me, and look what you have become."
Seras smiles softly, catching the compliment in his tone.
"Well," she chirps. "Thank you. But you still haven't answered my question."
"It is very simple," he mutters. "You were far from home, so I came to find out what you were up to. So I ask once again, why are you here?"
Seras shrugs. "It is very simple," she says, repeating his words. "This is where it all began."
The master vampire tilts his head, while gazing at her. His eyes swallow her whole; thinking that she looks decent in red. Slowly, an evil grin grows on his visage; one which Seras notices.
What is he up to?
"Would you like to find out?" he asks.
"You've got some nerve!" she snaps. "Stay out of my head."
"Why not?" he asks, suddenly standing behind her!
Seras whirls around, only to find herself on the ground with her Master on top of her. The lady vampire gasps at how close his face is to hers.
Bloody hell...!
She jerks around beneath him, sending her left arm to whip him off of her. However, he snatches the dark silhouette, crushing it to the dirt. She gasps when she finds it converting to the shape of her arm without her command.
Turning her attention back to the mad vampire, she angrily snarls, "What the hell is the matter with you? Get off me!"
Alucard, however, maintains that wicked smile; he enjoys the sudden flashes of anger emanating from her. Seras, too agitated and confused to calculate the elder vampire's ministrations, tries to dematerialize from him. After several attempts, however, she fails miserably.
What the hell is going on?
"What's the matter?" Alucard asks. "Something seems to be troubling you."
She snarls at him, but pauses when she realizes that pieces of his attire are missing, such as his fedora, sunglasses, and trench coat. Instead, she finds him with the rest of his clothes—and an unbuttoned white shirt, exposing his strong muscular chest.
Oh my…
"See something you like, police girl?"
Instantly, she breaks out of her trance and growls at him. With her leg, she manages to push him off of her and shambles away backwards on her hands and knees. She doesn't get very far when she collides into a tree. She silently curses, for she is trapped between the sharp bark and her master.
"What in God's name are you doing," she demands, flinching to find him stalking after her, like a wolf does to prey.
"God has nothing to do with this," he replies, tracing his tongue over one of his fangs. "It is only you and I in the middle of your so-called birthplace."
"But what are you doing?!" she snaps.
"Surely, it's obvious," he mutters.
"Huh...?"
He pauses momentarily before letting out a laugh. Unable to take anymore of his abnormal behavior, the female vampire growls.
"And what is so damn funny?"
"Thirty years is a long time," he says, approaching close and place a hand over her head, while leaning in towards her. Seras freezes, unable to register another thought.
What is happening? Why is he doing this?
"Alucard," she manages to let out.
"Thirty long years and the serpent still hasn't visited Eve. I find that a tad bit odd. Don't you think, Seras?" he asks, using her name.
She stares at him blankly, contemplating on his metaphor. Judging from his actions tonight, and his free hand sliding under her skirt, it does not take her long to register what he meant.
Does he mean…?
She turns blood red with embarrassment before her temper boils over. She aggressively knocks him away from her.
"YOU PERVERT...!"
Her voice is carried off by the harsh wind, alerting a flock of birds.
She seethes angrily at him, while he lies on his back laughing. Raising himself on his elbows, he presses a finger against his ear.
"To this day, your voice is like fragments of a shattered melody," he says.
"And you're a sick-minded bastard."
"So good of you to notice, police girl," Alucard says, grinning. His eyes lower to her chest, admiring the view. Noticing what he is doing, Seras wraps her arms around herself.
"Are you quite done!?" Seras shrieks.
Never has she thought that her master is this shameless! She does recall Integra telling her the stories. Many times he has embarrassed her with impious comments. She even remembers him saying that her temper turns him on—over the phone! The worst thing, though, was when he decided to be a peeping tom, while she was in the shower.
And now here he is, teasing her, his fledgling of all people, because she's still a virgin.
"No," he says, his hand grasping her knee. She flinches under his touch; a look of panic written all over her. Alucard cannot help but laugh. "You're such a prude, police girl. I did not expect you and Integra to be so alike."
"Stop it," she demands, smacking his hand away from her.
"Now, now, my pet, why so nervous?"
Pet…
She clenches her jaws tightly. How dare he call her that..!?
"What do you think I am? Some kind of whore, you miserable son of a-!"
"Choose your words wisely," Alucard says in a dangerous tone. "…for they might be your last." His crazed look is replaced with a dark gaze. Seras stares into his red orbs, and finds rage stirring in them.
Both of his hands tear through the restraints of her arms. Seras objects and tries to keep her hands where they are, but fails as Alucard pushes them to her sides. Her jerks her to her knees and has her sit before him. She leans back as he towers over her, long black hair brushing against her cheeks.
"What are you-"
"Be silent," he says. "Or else…"
Seras makes a sour face. For once in thirty years, she actually feels helpless. The feeling is so sickening that she wants to defy him and demand that he release her. However, she cannot bring herself to do so.
She fears what the "or else" might be. She also takes note of the threat before that; therefore, she does what he asks and remains still as her master's hands start to travel all over her. She could see that he has a curious look on his face. He almost appears as if he is studying her: glancing at her face, going through her hair, moving pass her shoulders, over her stomach, her bottom, her thighs, and then…
Seras' eyes expand as she realizes where those hands are going. She sits back to prevent them from going further. She gives him a resentful look.
"I don't know what you're doing, but you will not do it again."
"Giving me orders, police girl?"
"Yes…!" She says, snapping angrily. Without thinking she swings a punch into his face. Crimson gushes from his nose and mouth and splatters to the ground.
Realizing what she has done, Seras shudders.
She, the servant, attacked him, the master.
Oh God, what am I doing?
A wicked laugh passes his lips, his fangs appear, and then comes the growl. Seras, still in shock, screams when he back-hands her. She falls to the ground, stunned from the impact. A moment later, a hot tongue slides over cheek to clean up the blood smearing from her nose and mouth.
She tries to flee, but her powers and strength fail her. It is clear to her now that Alucard is responsible for disabling her powers. As far as hand-to-hand combat goes, she's always certain he'd defeat her effortlessly. Therefore, she submits to her final weapon of choice. Twisting her head to face him, she spits.
Alucard chuckles lightly.
"Such a bad temper," he says, viciously. He raises himself slightly, while his tongue slides over his cheek to clean up her mess. She cringes at the sight of it. "I hunger."
"What…what the hell is wrong with you?" she lets out, blushing madly from his last sentence.
"Do you really need me to spell it out for you?" he asks. They remain silent as Seras is caught between fear and anger. Unable to answer, she looks elsewhere. However, his hand catches her chin and pulls her back to meet his gaze once more. "Or should I show you, instead?"
She tries to jerk out of his grip, but his fingers tighten around her jaw to keep her in place. After a long moment he leans down and runs his tongue against the corner of her lips to lap at the blood from the punch he given her.
After he is through cleaning her, his tongue takes a trip down the crook of her neck. His freehand makes its way upon her breasts, causing the woman vampire to gasp with fright. She struggles again and feels that hand heading between her legs to where his thigh prevents them from closing.
"Stop this," she lets out. "This is wrong."
"How it is wrong for a Master to tend to his fledgling?" he asks.
"When he's touching me like some sex-crazed maniac, then yes, it's wrong!"
Alucard pauses over her chest and glances at her.
"I can touch you all I like," he says, lifting himself to get a better look at the distraught girl. "I can also fuck you all I like."
Seras gasps shock. She manages to must out, "what…?"
"Has my long absence caused you to forget who has authority over you, police girl?"
Seras does not answer him. Instead, she stares at him as he stares back. A moment later, her master vampire tilts his head. His eyes narrow slowly while gazing at one side of her neck. Without warming, he slams his jaws into her jugular.
She lets out a panicked shriek from the sudden attack. She scratches his shoulders viciously with her claws to pry him off of her, while kicking her legs wildly beneath him.
"No," she yells. "Have you gone mad? Stop it. Stop it! STOP!"
She gradually becomes weak as the elder vampire drains her. She chokes and trembles madly, digging her claws into his bloody shoulders that smear his white shirt. Breathing heavily, she listens to the rustling of the trees to send her mind elsewhere. She could almost see the memory of their first encounter. He sits over her, while holding onto her hand. Not a moment later, he leans over and pulls her into his dark embrace; his fangs sink into her neck.
However, there is something different about this bite. She could a feel an unknown sensation spreading throughout her body. She could feel a tug in her mind, causing her to fall endlessly into a strange place.
She lies in a bed. Her surrounding appear to be eighteenth-century housing. Her only light source is an oil lantern sitting afar on a desk that harbors a typewriter. Slowly, she sits up. Glancing down, she finds herself in a white silk night gown.
Where…?
From the corner of her eye, she notices a shadow. Turning her attention to her right, she finds her master staring at her.
Alucard…
His appearance takes her off guard. He wears his usual charcoal suit, but a deep red cape drapes over his shoulders; a gold chain keeping it in place, while resting upon his chest. His hair is also long and wavy like a dark ocean dancing with a gentle wind.
His eyes, however, cause her to freeze. In them, she does not see the usual insanity. Instead, there is darkness; a never-ending anger swirls in them. These scarlet eyes are that of a vicious, unsparing predator.
This isn't Alucard. Who is this?
Unable to take anymore of his scrutiny, she scoots back upon the mattress only to bump into something. She spins around and finds a sleeping man beside her. Her gasps in shock to find that he resembles Pip. Her mind starts to scream in confusion. She turns back and nearly screams when Alucard pulls her from the bed and presses her hard into his chest.
"Be silent," he says. "Or else…"
His eyes glance at the slumbering man, and then to her. A look of dread claims her features, realizing exactly what he would do if she sounds an alarm.
"No," she says with tears filling her eyes. The event of the mercenary's death still shakes her to this day; especially, with his spirit now at rest, the thought of seeing him killed again would destroy her.
The creature before her stares at her intently. He almost appears as if he is studying her: glancing at her face, going through her hair, moving pass her shoulders, over her stomach, her bottom, her thighs, and then…
She catches his hands, causing the vampire to raise a brow at her.
Had he just done this…
His actions are too similar to the way he fondled with her the same way earlier. Her eyes meet his again, and suddenly finds herself trapped in that fathomless stare. Wrapping his cape around her, he pulls her closer to him. She is unable to contain her gasp, for she realizes just how cold he is. Fear overwhelms her greatly, causing her to shake like a leaf.
What the hell is happening to me? Why do I feel like this?
Heated tears shower her face as she tightens her hold on his shoulders. Small kisses from him somehow calm her, including the precious one she receives on her lips. Her eyes expand.
Master is…kissing me…
Unable to resist, she melts into him and returns the kiss. It grows, turning from gentle to zealous. But then those lips move. He tilts her back, his hand resting behind the back of her head. His kisses run down from her chin and onto her long, creamy neck.
She anticipates what may happen, and places her palm over his cheek as if guiding him. And then the pain thrust its way through her; her whole being numbed by him. She gasps as he fed. One intake of her after another, she becomes overly exhilarated. She moans lightly, feeling herself grow weak and exhausted.
Suddenly he stops. Pulling away from her, he glances down with his eyes glistening brightly in the darkness.
Seras wakes up to reality and finds he master staring at her from above. Dread grabs her by the throat when she finds that look in his eyes. And so she realized that the creature in her vision is truly her master.
How can that be?
"You're still so full of surprises" he says, softly. "But it is different this time, for you have no lover—no husband to protect."
Seras listens to this words carefully. Eventually, she realizes the reason behind her master's unusual behavior tonight. Her eyes expand in shock.
"You're catching on, I see," he says with a smirk on his face.
"You…you're INSANE," she screams. Mustering what little strength she has left, she pushes him off of her. He flies back and lands on his feet, while she flips herself on her stomach and begins to crawl away.
He's out of his fucking mind. I'm not her…! I'm not her…!
Scratching her hands into the ground below, she pulls herself away in desperation. She unleashes a scream when he grabs her from her belt and forces her on her back. He looms over her, both knees at her sides as she attempts to flee once more. He roughly places his hand over her mouth and growls lowly, causing the girl to cease her screaming.
A long pause constricts them both; servant trembling before master, while the master stares intently at servant.
Seeing her remain still, Alucard leans back on one leg and extends the other, while pulling his blood-soaked shirt off. Taking her by the collar, he sits her up. With a claw, he cuts in his chest; his blood moving down at a glacial pace.
Seras carefully watches the trail travel towards his abdomen. Her teeth bite into her lips. She could feel her thirst get the best of her; especially now, after Alucard consumed so much.
But she remembers that the blood on the table is not simple medical blood; it is ancient blood—the blood of her master.
"Master," she says weakly.
The hand on her collar raises to her chin, and replies, "take it."
"I can't," she rasps.
"You will," he says, his thumb toying with her lips. The smell of his blood begins to cloud her senses, causing her to become feral. She stares into that unfamiliar look of his. How it swallows her whole, and ask her to do whatever he wishes.
No…
Using her mental strength, she blocks all he suggests.
I cannot. Must not..!
"Do not fight this," he says. "Do not fight me."
"What do you want from me?" she yells, with hot tears running down her face. "You're not making any sense!"
The master vampire glances at her quietly, seeing the once so confident vampire cripple from the revelation.
"I've waited," he says, bleakly. Seras gawks at him, perplexed. "I've waited for far too long. But that does not matter anymore. You're here. And you're strong. No, stronger than I predicted. I'd be a fool if I am to wait any longer."
"I-I"
"What are you so afraid of?" He asks, sounding very annoyed.
"P-pip-"
"Is dead, my dear, as a door nail."
"Integra...you-"
Alucard frowns. "What goes on between Integra and I has nothing to do with you," he says, coldly. Seras flinches. She feels like a young fledgling again when he use to scold her after saying something stupid.
"Then why are you…?"
"I told you," he says, running his fingers through her hair. "I've waited. Now the wait is over." He pulls her chin to glance up at him. Their eyes lock together. Angry scarlet and ruby twist as one to birth a new storm.
"Alucard…" she whispers.
"I asked you before—twice, in fact—drink my blood," he says, brushing his lip over hers. "Become my equal."
Seras shakes against him. She closes her eyes and could find herself in a garden when suddenly he arrives to take her away. He will not take 'no' for an answer. And so she falls from grace. Her red orbs are hollow…
"I'm not he-"she tries to say but he silences her with a kiss.
Too numb to think anymore, Seras withdraws and falls into her second embrace.
Alucard grins as he pulls her closer to him. Her mouth suckles on the wound; her teeth sinking into his flesh. Her feeding sends him pleasant sensations, so gratifying that it sets him on fire. He growls loudly while his hands dig into her uniform, tearing the garment off to feel her silky skin.
She moans lightly, earning a growl from him. His hands grasp her waist and the back of her head, having her feed more. And she takes it further by thrusting her claws into his ribcage. Alucard gives out an animalistic cry of both pain and pleasure.
Seras, unable to restrain herself, reaching for both sides of his face and pulls him into a heated kiss; one of which the master vampire responds to with intense vigor. The master vampire wraps his arms around her waist, he pulls her against him, while her hands ran through the dark locks of his hair. He suddenly falls back, taking her with him.
"Miss Mina, Jonathan!" Quincy shouts, while kicking the door open. Jonathan wakes up, startled. From the corner of his eye, he finds the fiend hissing viciously at the men huddling at the door.
All of them, especially the old man holding the crucifix in one hand, are stunned to find the young woman with her mouth pressed up against the monster's naked chest; blood spilling over chin.
"Mina…!" Jonathan cries.
The woman snaps out of her trance. She spins around to her husband, to the men at the door, and finally her newfound lover. Staring down at her blood-soaked hands, she realizes what she had done.
"Unclean," she says with tears in her eyes. She suddenly falls to the floor. "Unclean…!"
"Dracula," the older man seethes, even more determined to destroy the Count once and for all.
The vampire snarls at the intruders. But then an evil grin emerges on his face as the woman begins screaming, while her husband embraces her tightly.
Jonathan glares at the monster with a mix of hatred and fear. The beast smiles wickedly.
"She's now my bride."
"Beautiful night, right..?" Alucard asks. He glances down at Seras, who is still recovering from their heated tryst. She glances wearily at him.
He devilishly grins at her as she smiles back warmly.
