Santana was in underwear at the window, calming her mind watching the passing clouds in the gray but blinding sky.
She wondered how it was possible that the light was so strong despite the clouds.
And as if she had read her mind, Brittany came near her, silent, with the same question.
"San, why is there so much light when the sun is not there?"
"The sun is there, Britt! Except you can not see it. It's behind the clouds and it's so strong, so powerful that its range reaches beyond the clouds to illuminate the earth. "
The blonde was delighted to watch, assimilating all that information.
When she finished her thought, a laugh replaced her contrite facial expression.
"Why do not you ever said to be the sun, San?" she asked amused, as if it had been teased by her friend for a long time.
Santana looked perplexed and puzzled.
"What you're saying, Britt? I'm not the sun! "
"Yes you are!" the blonde girl retorted, she went around the room going to find the shirt that her friend had slipped off a few hours before.
Santana followed her statuesque figure, almost perfect, waving around the room at ease with your body.
When the blonde turned back she looked away from her forms and searched her blue eyes, feeling a slight warmth on her cheeks.
"Britt, I do not think .."
"San, you said that the sun is behind the clouds and it's there even if we do not see! It's obvious that you are the sun, there is no other explanation! "
Santana still did not understand and Brittany, after wearing the white jersey, looked resigned her and tried again to explain herself, like she was talking with a child.
"San, is so obvious! You are always there to warm me and I know that you will never go away. And even when I do not see you, your strength is strong enough to warm and enlighten my day. You can not be other than the sun. "
She concluded her explanation with a smile, returning to search her jeans under Santana's bed and leaving the brunette unable to say a word.
All she could do was get toward the other and, grabbing her by the arm, let her turn and kiss her.
Santana stood on tiptoe, wrapped her right hand between her blond and fragrant hair and the other hand stroked her right cheek.
Brittany, also caught by surprise, not expected to reciprocate the kiss and let their lips crashing against each other for several minutes until she heard the other go gently away.
They looked honestly into each other eyes, without lies and defenses.
"I can not be the sun, but I'll be your if you like .."
Brittany smiled gently, as a happy child.
Then she remembered what she was doing and she motioned to resume the search of her pants, but Santana held her wrapping one arm behind her back to crush Brittany against herself.
"Forget it, you do not need that.."
Brittany smiled again while Santana dropped her on the bed and laying her under her warm body.
