Chapter 1
There once was a girl named Marie and she was very nervous.
She was about to enter the deadly games and she was scared that she was going to die. This was her first year of going into the deadly games so she was even more nervous. She didn't want to lose her family if she died. She was only 12 so she really wants to survive. She's not positively sure if she is going to be in the deadly games because they pick your a name out of bowl like a raffle but someone can take your place if they volunteered. So she was hoping someone would take her place.
