A/N: This is just an uber short drabble that I wrote about a year ago...please r & r! More may come if y'all like it. Remember to go easy on me...I'm new to this fanfic stuff!
Thanks!

Faith whirled in a circle, her body churning in beat with those around her, trying desperately not to notice the six feet that were kept between her and everyone else. She imagined it was because she looked like crap-after all, she hadn't exactly stopped to shower between Sunnydale and LA. Maybe she should've grabbed that RV she had seen at the truck stop, instead of the black Lexus. Too late now, right? Squeezing her eyes shut, her arms shut up over her head as she let the music carry her along.
She wasn't going to think about B, or the Council, or Giles, or any of those stupid idiots back in Sunny-dee that she'd once wanted to be her friends. She'd been fighting so hard for their approval, that she'd ended up losing them instead.
Wasn't the first thing she'd lost. Wouldn't be the last. As her dancing continued, she could feel something at the back of her neck. A prickling, like an itch from a tag on a new shirt (she always ripped those things out). Someone was watching her, and not for the reason she wanted.
Who cared? They'd make a move when they wanted. In the mean time she'd be just five by five-and no one would get in her way.
