She knew the others thought of her as the Dark Slayer. And she suspected Andrew had been the one to keep the nick alive. After all, hadn't he been the one who'd come up with it?
They always come to her for the dirty jobs. Guess she was that 'somebody' that's always been the one who has to do it. B sure as hell wouldn't. She wasn't a killer.
Faith was.
Not that it bothered her so much, being on her own. 'Least she didn't have some random posse' of girls trailing after her that she had to keep from getting killed, when she should be focusing on the other stuff instead. Killing the bad guys.
Whether or not they were vampires.
Her cell phone cut the silent brooding, and she glanced at it from across the room where she sat against the wall. The tv had died the day before, and she kept meaning to buy a new one, thanks to that monthly check from Giles. She just hadn't. Firm muscles shifted as she pushed her way to her bare feet, and padded over. She paused a moment, letting her darkly painted toenails dig into the plush carpet. This place was almost better than the one Richard had got her a few years back.
Almost.
She picked up the phone, knowing without looking it'd be Robin. Flipping the silver device open, she pressed it to her ear. "Where?"
