Adam Banks sat on top of an isolated hill, watching the night sky. He was thinking about hockey, his family, school, and most importantly, his boyfriend, Charlie Conway. The two had gotten into a fight about coming out to the rest of the Ducks. Charlie wanted to, but Adam wasn't to keen on the idea yet. A small sigh came from his mouth as he pulled his knees to his chest to rest his head on. The blonde watched as a shooting star flew across the sky and he wished that Charlie was with him. As a familiar voice began to sing, he turned his head as fast as he could in shock.
"My dearest friend, if you don't mind, I'd like to join you by your side, and we can gaze into the stars." Adam smiled and joined Charlie in his favorite song.
"And sit together, now and forever, for it is plain, that anyone can see, we're simply meant to be.(1)" Charlie gently held his boyfriend in his arms as they finished their song.
"I'm sorry Adam. We wo…" he was cut off by a passionate kiss.
"I'm sorry, too." Adam said breathlessly. "And we will tell them…just give me some more time." Charlie smiled brightly at him and they kissed as stars from the sky, alone, on their isolated hill.
