A/N: Since this poem is of Vulcan, there is a mathematical scheme to it. The first line has one syllable, the second two, and so forth up to ten, after which it recedes down to one syllable again on the last line.
All
logic
understands
your creation.
Your eyes are fractals,
your cheeks are frictionless,
your Vulcan ears sweep upward,
your mind a temple of logic.
You perform your duties flawlessly.
In you, perfection is certainly met.
Might you share the teachings of Surak
with one who has slipped from the path
logic has chosen for him?
Might you illuminate
the Vulcan teachings,
so that I might
control my
love for
you?
