HANDS OF TIME

Rose was running thru the corridors of the TARDIS looking for the Doctor, the hallways seem to go on forever. Becoming frightened she runs faster and faster calling the Doctors name in fear. Finally she bursts into the control room and sees the familiar figure sitting on the Captains chair. "Doctor!" she cries out as she throws herself into his leather clad arms, clinging to his strong shoulders "I couldn't find you!" The Doctors ice blue eyes lock onto her warm amber ones as his hands cup her face "I don't have long Love, I have to go soon. You won't be able to see this me anymore." Rose leans up and kisses him softly on the lips as tears fall from her eyes. Her heart begins to break as she holds him close and starts to speak...

Rose: "No more midnight rides with you. No more secret rendezvous. I'm gonna miss all the things we'll never do. I just can't believe you left me here alone, how in this world can I make it on my own?"

Doctor: "Remember, I love you, I won't be far away. Baby, close your eyes and think of yesterday, and we'll be together. Love will turn back the hands of time."

Rose: "Don't you know it's hard to let you go?"

Doctor: "Save all your dreams and keep me in your heart."

Rose: "It hurts to say goodbye, no matter how I try."

Doctor: "Love will survive even though we have to part. Rose, please don't cry."

Rose: "Oh, it all seems so unfair. Just when I found you I lost you.

Doctor: "That doesn't matter now. The only thing that matters is the time we had together."

Rose: "But, I don't even know your name!"

Doctor: "The only thing you have to know is that I love you. And you're the only one who can keep our love alive! So Rose, don't forget me!"

Rose: "I promise!"

Doctor: "Remember, I love you, I won't be far away."

Rose: "I'll just close my eyes and bring back yesterday. And we'll be there together. Love will turn back the hands of time."

Rose whimpered softly in her sleep as she fell deeper into her dream. The new Doctors brown eyes watch her intently as she tossed and turned in a restless sleep. Running a hand thru his unruly brown hair the Doctor slowly slides down the wall next to her bed never taking his dark eyes off of her. Slowly he reaches out and grabs her hand gently in his, running his thumb over her knuckles. Leaning in closer to her he whispered softly in her ear "I love you still, please don't leave me." then he closed his eyes and fell into a sleep full of impossible dreams, Roses hand still clutched tightly in his.
