An: I do not own DGM, and for anyone who knows how the Leonine work and or care this is a Leo story.
Komui searched his cluttered desk again. He was looking for a letter he had gotten about a week ago that had seemed fairly important. He couldn't remember actual opening it, just looking at the return address in time for his darling little sister to come in and demand his attention to something else far more important. Like a new coffee mug.
There had been a note on the back with something along the lines of Read by Friday, so he had simply pushed off reading it until to-day in favor of napping, working, building robots, designing new therapy plans, drinking coffee, and working on some of the icky paper work that was always seemed to be laying every where.
Now though, that decision felt like it was coming back to haunt him. Three in the after noon on the Friday he was supposed to have read the letter by, and he couldn't find the cursed thing anywhere.
Komui was searching through the papers again, hoping that he had just missed it the last 12 times he had cleared his desk. He really didn't want to go and look the endless piles of papers plaguing the floor for only one pesky letter.
"Nii-san, what are you looking for?" A sweet voice asked from behind him.
"Oh Lenalee! Thank you," Komui turned to except the cup of coffee his sweet little sister offered him. "I was just looking for a letter that I was supposed to read to day, but I cant seem to find it."
Lenalee looked around the room. "Really?" Leenalee sighed, "What does this letter look like?" Lenalee went to one of the piles on the floor and nelt down.
"It's a pretty simple letter in a envelope with a short note on the back," Komui answered as he scowled once more at the desk that now held nothing before going to the floor.
"Dose that note say ' Read by Friday '?", Lenalee pulled a letter from the stack she'd been inspecting. It was basically on top.
The scientist's head poked out from behind a particularly large pile of papers on the other side of his desk. "Yes! Did you find it?" Hope was rising in his voice.
When Lenalee held up the white envelope so that the note faced him, and Komui immediately jumped up and took a few quick steps to her before excepting the letter.
Komui ripped it open and as he read his eyes opened wider and a smile appeared on his face as he turned to his sister, "Gather all the other M.P.s in the meeting room, Lenalee", he told her as he turned to gather some other papers and finish reading the letter.
AN2: This might have been up yesterday if Nine hadn't threaten me and forced me to edit her little story chapter. Remember this because if at any time It takes me more then a month to upload a chapter its her fault. Little demon doesn't even type in English half the time.
AN3: I was so innocent and naive. This is just an improved version of the first chapter. Don't get too excited now.
