The lion's den, full of roars

Of cheers and celebration

For she was there right then

When she saw him standing there

He was their king

She wanted to be his queen

But then she came and stole her throne

Leaving the girl with Hermes' name

To finally understand the lessons

Written in the book of love.

For until then

Love was something

She scoffed at.

Now she'd felt the truth

Seeing that girl

Full of laughter and light

Be with the one

Who filled her with that same laughter and light.

She was so close.

But that doesn't count for anything

Does it?
