Hello! So, this is my first ever Fanfic. And this is totally uncharacteristic of me to let anyone read what I have written, let alone complete stranger. So please review, or I will most likely not have the courage to post another chapter. This is completely out of dates as of Let's Kill Hitler, but I like it better this way. Also it may be out of character. I tried my best. Hope you enjoy it!

Hey, my name is Melody Pond. I am sixteen years old, my life is crazy, but my parents say that it will help if I start writing some of this stuff down. Here goes nothing I guess..
I am sure if you are reading this you already know who I am. But just in case I will give you a brief explanation. My name is Melody Pond (Do I have to state this again!) My parents are Rory and Amelia Pond, they traveled with this guy called the Doctor since before I was born. Oh! Before I forget, the Doctor is an alien called a Timelord, he is actually was the last of the Timelords. But anyhow.. back to my explanation. I was conceived on the Doctor's spaceship called a TARDIS (Time And Relative Dimensions In Space) while it was going through the vortex (which I am not explaining!). This messed up my DNA and made part Timelord. So.. history lesson over! Today I have my last exam: Flying the TARDIS. I am super excited but this is a big deal! Wish me luck!

I put down my diary, and started walking towards the control room for my test.
"Well.. it's about time!" The Doctor said as I walked into the room.
"Zip it!" I said smiling. Where are we going today?" I asked hoping for something I could do. I did not want to fail this.
"How about Cardiff? 2012?" He asked.
I nodded slightly then set to work. I was flying the TARDIS perfectly until the TARDIS started flying off path, and we landed. It was like someone took control of it from the outside is that even possible?
"Great job, Sweetie!" my Dad said with out knowing what had happened.
"What happened?" I asked the Doctor
"Someone on the outside most of taken control." he replied looking shocked.
"I grasp that.." I said with a sigh.
"Wait what happened? Where are we?" My Mom said catching on that something happened.
I pulled the scanner down to look were we were. But before I could read it there was a knock on the door. I did not think twice I ran to the door and threw it open. Outside were two of my Godparents, Donna and Jack Harkness.
"Hello Spacegirl!" Donna said as she walked into the TARDIS
"Hi, Earthgirl!" I said finishing the greeting. Then hugging both Donna and Jack.
The doctor walked over to where we were standing. You can tell he was trying to be annoyed.
"Donna, Captain. Melody was taking her exam." he said visibly trying to hold back a smile.
"Oh really? How did it go?" Donna asked.
"I don't know. Because of our interesting landing I did not get to finish." I replied.
"Sorry about that." Donna said
"Actually it is kind of my fault Melody. I told them to come." The Doctor replied from behind me.
"Why did you call them?" I asked not really caring they were there, but thinking it odd the Doctor actually told them to come."
"Well." The Doctor said not wanting to say whatever he needed to tell me. After a second he continued
"Though you are very strong and clever, you still are only 16. And some things are just to dangerous to take you along with us. So you need to go stay with Donna and Jack for a bit." He said making a face as if he thought I would hit him.
"How long?" I asked
"At least 6 months, and you will need to leave as soon as possible. We need to get started."
"Well... I guess I will go pack." I said trying to hold back some of my irritation.
