Yuna sees blood sometimes. It never lasts for long - just a flash, a blink and then it's gone, but it imprints, weighs and lingers in her mind long after the images have gone.
Sometimes the blood's on Shinwoo, running down his face, dripping from his lips. Other times, it's Regis, his hair stained red, blood creating trails down his arms. And then there are the times when it's the guard, a dark hole in his chest, his blood cooling on her hands and it won't stop pouring out of him like his body is rejecting it and-
She sucks in a breath, shaking her head to clear it. Rai's looking at her in worry and she smiles at him. "It's nothing," she tells him.
Because it's just her having an active imagination, isn't it?
