Another Sesame Street sketch rewrite, this time, a Waiter Grover sketch where Mr Johnson orders outside on a windy day. Enjoy and comment.
It was a windy day, and Mr Johnson decided to eat outside at Charlie's Restaurant.
However, Mr Johnson was waiting for a waiter.
"Waiter!" he cried.
Just then, Grover, on roller-skates, rolled over.
"Oh no! It's you again!"
"Well, yes it is." said Grover.
"All I want is something to eat!" said Mr Johnson.
"Did you know that you can't see air, even though it all around us?" said Grover.
"That's interesting, but I want some food!"
"Let me get you a menu sir." said Grover.
The wind began to blow even harder.
Soon, Grover arrived with a menu, which blew away.
"My menu!" cried Mr Johnson.
"Air moves things you know." explained Grover. "That's why they call it wind."
"That's it!" snapped Mr Johnson. "I'm eating inside!"
"But there's a twenty minute wait inside." said Grover. "May I suggest a cheeseburger?"
"Alright, get me a cheeseburger!" said Mr Johnson.
"Fine." said Grover as he walked into the kitchen. "Charlie, a cheeseburger please!"
Soon, Grover arrived with a cheeseburger, which flew away.
"My burger!" cried Mr Johnson.
"Air seems like it can move cheeseburgers too!" said Grover.
Mr Johnson was angry.
"That's it! I'm out of here!"
"You forget to pay your check." said Grover. "It's $5,50 for the burger."
"But what about the wind?" asked Mr Johnson.
"It's always there when you need it!"
Mr Johnson fell to the ground.
