Forgiveness doesn't come over night all of the time especially from your own self; Saki holds her breath, feeling the gentle hands of the man infront of her brush her hair back along her shoulders.
His eyes are sad yet it doesn't pool with his own sadness but her own that is reflected in them.
"Saki, I love you." Kazuma releases the words as his waves grow less sad and more loving, welcoming, comforting.
Saki Hanajima stares at him and watches the way he stares at her, "I love you too."
"I forgive you." She'd never hurt him like that, but he'd dutifully listened to all that she'd told him before and held her close now.
"That's not up to you." It was bluntly honest yet she felt him lean closer, gingerly resting his palm on her cheek.
"I know that." He smiled, eyes sparkling just slightly with the joy that sometimes dances around in his veins in a way that she really can't understand, "I forgive you anyway."
Saki Hanajima wonders if he realizes the way the words make her feel, the ripple effect they have through her veins, the way it lifts her heart up with hope.
"Why say it then?" She longs for the answer far too much.
"Because you have to know." He murmurs, reaching out, holding her hand, intertwining their fingers so very carefully.
"Alright," Saki stood infront of him, carefully watching him as if she was still so unsure.
Shishou leaned closer, kissing her forehead, and dropping down to kiss her lips so gently, "I love you." It was gentle, soft spoken, and he felt as if he desperately needed to say it.
She had to know that she could be forgiven. that she could be loved even though he knew that the other people in her life let her know in their own ways all of the time.
"I trust you." He did trust her with all of his being, knew her better than he could have ever dreamed or hoped for in the past; Kazuma leaned closer and relaxed against her, fully loving her entirely.
"You do." Saki felt it with all of her being, felt it touch her waves, and yet found that she had to reaffirm it.
"I do. I trust you entirely." He murmured, eyes watching her carefully as he leaned down to kiss her again.
Saki tried to relax her shoulders, feel safe as if her waves will never ever hurt him whether she grew angrier than angry later on or not.
He leaned closer to her, kissing her gingerly, calmly taking all of it in stride, and trying to be what she needed at the moment.
Saki smiled softly against his lips, savoring the gentle way that he managed to embrace her fully now.
