Lesson in working together. Note: This is a request from Sword Stitcher. Hope you enjoy it. :D

"DEAD SWITCH!"

Switch groaned and slowly sat up. What did the little 'Mistress of Riddles' want this time?

Switch dragged herself to the main room to see Enigma sitting at her father's desk, with a very annoyed look on her face.

"What do you want Enigma?" asked Switch.

"Where is my father?" asked Enigma he eyes narrowed. "And call me Crossword!"

Switch sighed. "Riddler's out, Crossword."

Enigma glared. "When will he be back?!"

"Whenever he decides to come home." snapped Switch. She didn't like the tone Enigma was using on her.

"You do not have the right to snap at me!" shouted Enigma.

Switch sighed. "I do not know when your Dad will be back. He never said."

Enigma began to pace back and forth. "I can't believe he just left me here with an idiot to pass the time."

Switch narrows her eyes at her but didn't say anything.

"Switch clean the death trap for the fifth hostage. An idiot got stuck in there and made a right mess." said Enigma as she sat down again.

Switch folded her arms. "No."

"What?"

"I said No. No I will not clean the death trap. You want it clean, you clean it yourself." hissed Switch.

Enigma stood up and stormed over to Switch, trying to intimidate her, but when you are only 15 and you have someone who is in their early twenties in front of you, it doesn't really work.

"How dare you speak to me like that! Don't you know who I am?!" screamed Enigma.

Switch smirked. "You're Enigma Terry aka Crossword aka my pain in the backside."

Enigma glared. "How dare you! Don't you realise what I will do to you?!"

Switch sighed and walked back into the other room. She wasn't, nor was she ever, in the mood to listen to one of Enigma's tantrums.

They were like Riddler's but ten times worse.

"GET BACK HERE SWITCH!" shouted Enigma.

Switch sighed. "Sorry I can't here you."

"Switch!" screamed Enigma as she stormed into the room. "You will do exactly what I tell you!"

"No I won't. You don't order me around." snapped Switch.

"You work for me! You useless coward!" shouted Enigma.

If there was one thing Switch hated being called it was coward.

Switch stood up and walked straight up to Enigma. "Say that again?" she hissed at her.

"I called you a useless coward! But it seems you are deff too!" shouted Enigma.

Switch snapped.

She grabbed Enigma by the hair and dragged her into one of Riddler's death traps.

Throwing her to the floor, Switch walked out of the room ad locked the door.

"LET ME OUT! YOU HEAR ME SWITCH?!" shouted Enigma.

"Loud and clear." Switch said as she turned the death trap on. "Since you are so smart Enigma, try and solve it."

"Switch. Where is my daughter?"

Switch yelped in surprise at Riddler as he stood only a few steps behind her.

"Enigma? Oh she err…" Switch looked at the floor.

"Where is she?!" snapped Riddler.

"In the challenge room." muttered Switch.

Riddler stared at her before running over to the door and unlocking it.

"Dad!" shouted Enigma as she ran over to her.

"Did you solve it?" asked Riddler.

"No." answered Enigma.

"Switch come here." said Riddler beckoning her.

Switch walked over cautiously.

"I think you two need to get to know each other better and learn how to work with each other." said Riddler as he pushed the both inside the challenge room and locked the door.

"And while you're at it, I can have some peace an quiet."

THE END.
